Anyone? Please?

So, I'm fairly good at using GIMP to mess with pictures, but when it comes to drawing from scratch, I'm a complete noob. I have a few questions. 1. How can I make a flame from a rocket engine? The only tutorials are about making "boring" fire... I like fire from rockets! 2. How can I make better looking lines, i.e. smoother... etc. 3. How can I make it have better shading? 4. And finally, this kinda goes with the shading, but how can I make colors look nicer and blend better?

When you finish that can I get this; Aerobraking in Jools atmo? With the RCS firing alot to make it look like it's fighting aerodynamic forces. If you need more pics just ask.

Rareden... the reason I got a working interplanetary SSTO made today is you... I wanted to have a cool SSTO when the time for mine to be (if ever) made.

Oh, no, I just purposely let the panels burn up, it looks cool. I mean, yeah, I will add a battery anyways. In a 120 KM orbit, (I was going for 100, but I forgot to cut my throttle when setting up the maneuver... oops. ) how is this for DV?

Oh, yeah, I didn't have fuel lines set up correctly, I was only using 2 small tanks, when I had like 4 long ones that weren't connected. Also, do you think it could make Duna? Edit: Just got the fixed one into orbit. Easily enough for Duna... My new pride and glory... Now I wonder if it'll land. Edit edit: Yay! I'm so happy now! It could make orbit agian...!

Haha! Nice wheel! It looks something like a combination of a unicycle and a bicycle! And it even has bearings!

Greaaat... got it to orbit... with like no fuel... this thing is pointless... now I have to make it Duna capable... I hate SSTO's sometimes. Edit: Should I make some of the jet fuel tanks LFO tanks? Edit edit: No, that would increase weight, this thing can barely get into orbit anyways... EDIT EDIT EDIT: Nevermind, I'm missing fuel lines, it actually might have enough...

Do you think 9.6 is enough air?

Alright, I'll add more intakes. Also, how can I make each jet have the same fuel amount? As you can see, the middle one looses fuel quicker.

I can do that. I then add a nuke and everything from there out goes to hell...
