  1. How do you recommend getting an extra boost of power to get it into orbit? I've seen so many SSTO's like this, I just don't understand. :c.
  2. Well alright. It's not set up with the hybrid engines, just turbojets. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6r1qNKmBVMedXNvSnZ0NzAwR28/edit?usp=sharing Also, if you could do a flight test and tell me if it can get to orbit or not and how much DV it has in orbit, that would be great.
  3. I know, I get that, but look at this picture. See the highlighted fuel line? I need that to connect to both engines.
  4. I mean the center tanks on my SSTO contain the jet fuel, so I have to make fuel lines from the center tank to the engines, but the turbojet is blocking the basic jet.
  5. One problem with that KissSh0t... I have intersecting fuel lines... the center tanks go to the jets and the outside go to the nukes/LV-909's. How could I connect the fuel lines to the basic jets and turbojets?
  6. No, it does. but look at the screenshot, it's like that the whole time, nose at 30 degrees, prograde marker at 5 degrees.
  7. No, spam the screenshot button as you lift off with the desired view for as long as you want the .gif to be, then just do a Google search for a .gif maker, someone else could probably provide a good website.
  8. The air wont help, sure higher altitudes, but that wont help TWR at liftoff.
  9. Right, fixed rocket TWR, destroyed jet TWR. Anyone have nay ideas on increasing jet TWR without decreasing rocket TWR and changing the overall look?
  10. Interplanetary. But I'm building bigger and everything is going ok but I can't get a fuel line to connect, it thinks it's clipping through an engine but it's not, I can put the fuel line on, then the engine, but when I reload the craft the fuel line is connected to the engine... gr... Well I have to get off now, so I can't provide a craft or screenshots, but if anyone had ideas...
  11. Even a blank cube you render manages to look great with pretty grass and lighting.
  12. Uh, does anyone have any tips on improving TWR? My current SSTO in progress has two jets and one nuke, the jets are fine, but the nuke's TWR is TERRIBLE. Adding the 24-S7's or whatever just eats up fuel, and yeah... If you need pics or the craft just ask, I don't bite.
  13. Meh, right, I just keep reading things saying it's STOVL, sorry.
  14. Wait, you JUST saw this video?? You really need to subscribe to Nassault, he makes amazing videos.
  15. Yeah, I'm just sticking some 24's on it. I'll see how it goes.
  16. That's fine. I'm gonna test it a bit to see what I can do.
  17. Sure, but there is nothing about TWR in there. I'm wondering how people think I should give it a higher TWR.
  18. Ok, so I usually don't build SSTO's. Mostly planes and rockets. So I thought, well, I should combine them. I did make an SSTO a few months ago, but it was pretty ugleh. So I've been designing a fairly standard SSTO, 2 jets, 1 nuke, and yeah, not very big, not very small either though, I can post pics later if needed. But my main problem is the TWR. The Nukes TWR on my SSTO is terrible, I can't get to orbit with it. So I see 2 possible fixes, increase TWR, or get a higher apoapsis on jets. So I'm sort of just asking what you guys would recommend and how to do it. I also have a few other questions. Intake amount, and cruising altitude for this amount? And how much jet fuel tanks vs. LFO tanks?
  19. You suck up everyting ever known and not known to exists and live the rest of your life floating in nothing and nowhere. I want to control the weather.
  20. No. STOVL. Short takeoff vertical landing.
