  1. This looks so awesome! Keep up the good work guys!
  2. That's the separation kraken, a minor type that preys on ships that have loaded wrong. It is quite weak, so don't worry. I met the dubstep kerbal duplicating ultra save-destroying kraken. It was not fun.
  3. Wait, that's today! Also, I don't lose Kerbals. Never leave a Jeb behind.
  4. I like probes. I have many probes. Many probes. I have probably about 10 Kerbin satellites, 4-5 unmanned Mun landers (and 2 rovers), 2 unmanned Minmus landers and many interplanetary missions. Weirdly, my Kerbals never venture very far out. I have 2-3 space stations in LKO (A small ISS style, an unmanned emergency fuel unit which has saved me many, many times and a mostly abandoned Skylab which I never had the heart to deorbit and is used as a space garden shed) where they visit a lot to science, but apart from that all that I did was 3 Mun landing missions, a Minmus orbiter and a 3 day trip into interplanetary space before hastily returning. Sophistry, I obsess over organisation too. I have a naming and filing system for my rockets to make sure they are neat, standardised and categorised by their ability, launch stage and payload respectively. All my orbits have to be as close as possible to the target orbit, and can never be below it (As close as 99,798m is to 100,000 it just isn't as neat as 100,049)
  5. Theoretically it is infinite. The tyranny of the rocket equation is the main obstacle in KSP however, as eventually you will have too many parts for the game to be playable. The largest single launch dV I ever had was about 17k, but that almost killed my computer (This is excluding my ION probes, which had an insane dV which I could never really use all of due to their long burn time)
  6. Would be cool to get missions sponsored by multiple companies. Your little Mun rover could have Kerbcedes-Benz and Kaudi icons on it, rather like an F1 car has.
  7. Any chance that you could smooth out movement and add Kerbal animations in correctly? Watching someone control a Kerbal is like watching Slender with all the teleporting and the dead, blank stare of its eyes.
  8. They are all kinda cringy. I would prefer a practical design to one that looks nice, but since this is just for non-flight I guess its ok.
  9. 1. This has been discussed SO MUCH that its getting kind of boring. 2. I think MechJeb is a good way to start out. Its fun to start by blowing up rockets and generally failing, but after a while you want to achieve something and online guides can seem opaque as hell to new players who don't know how orbital transfers work. MechJeb is an excellent teacher as it allows you to hone your designing skills and watch as an expert pilot shows you how to do stuff. I learned the game from MechJeb and I think it in no way was detrimental to my experience - in fact, it helped me enjoy KSP to its full potential early on. I have learned how to do pretty much everything from it and can now pilot pretty much any mission, but I still keep it around. I mean, what's up with interplanetary transfers? Seriously, I can't do it and I don't want to sit around with a calculator for an hour because I could be doing cool stuff instead!
  10. Yeh, I would probably use it to list all their completed missions and rank
  11. These parts look worryingly familiar. Have you been given permission to use FusTek parts (I see the re-textures, but its a really small change. Really small) and the part from that BioFuel greenhouse mod? The plan for the mod looks quite good, but you really should do your own parts. It makes the mod so much better when it has its own look (Or maybe thats just me ) On a lighter note, this looks really good and I hope to see some really cool stuff coming out of here. Best of luck!
  12. Nope, nope nope. Ok, maybe a science report on water on laythe with a 1/1000 chance of appearing that maybe possibly hints at possible maybe traces of maybe algae. Maybe. But NOTHING ELSE, got it?
  13. They don't do anything. All Kerbals are clones of Jebadiah made under the VAB. Some have defective personalities though, which is why they all have different bravery/stupidity. This is why they are all Kermans
  14. Time to go blow up moonbases with rocket attack CSMs whilst humming 'Flight of the Valkyries'
  15. I wish there were actual caves you could enter and explore. Would make for cool bases, science-hunting trips and Prometheus style cinematics
  16. Maybe put them closer together? They are less of a belt and more of a random spray. I love it so much though EDIT: Is there a way to disable the Sentar pack?
  17. I sit on your hill. My hill.
  18. Really? I thought that PorkJet would want the community to use his parts responsibl.....wait what? Porkjet, Im disappointed in you. No snacks all weekend Seriously, the sheer diffrentness of this build made me laugh so much
  19. Dupe it and parachute drop it into enemy territory. 'Oh no! The SWARM!'
  20. You could use Active Texture Reduction if your RAM is the problem. Or get a new computer
  21. I sent a probe into the atmosphere of Jool on a one-way science trip. When it impacted at x4 warp, It lost all pasts apart from the core and was teleported into the void.
