Make sure that the JSI folder is in the GameData folder. Try deleting the JSI folder from the GameData folder and replacing it with a newly downloaded version (fresh install). I always open the .zip download then drag & drop the mod folder (in this case JSI) to another window that has the GameData folder open. I've always been successful in doing this and I believe it will fix your problem. Also, make sure ModuleManager.x.x.x.dll is also in the GameData folder (although the location isn't that critical.) Let me know if this works. Edit: Also, make sure that you don't have a GameData folder inside GameData "\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\GameData\JSI" is a common mistake. The correct path would be: "\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\JSI"

I'm sorry! To the best of my knowledge, there are no mods (not even this one) that allow creation of maneuver nodes while in IVA. But it is very fun to learn how to navigate while in IVA without maneuver nodes. There are many Youtube videos that explain IVA Only missions (including a few by me).

ASET Props Pack. v1.5 (for the modders who create IVA)
nukeboyt replied to alexustas's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
He has communicated with a small group of beta testers within the last week or so. One of the testers asked if they could post some of the beta props in a dropbox link for others to use, and @alexustas politely said that he didn't think it was a good idea. He indicated that he is in fact very busy IRL, and doesn't have a lot of time to work on the change log (which will be very large). Several of us have offered to help in that regards. I do think it is not going to be very much longer. @MOARdV, I wonder if he is waiting for MAS? -
Do you know how to install a mod without CKAN? It is not difficult whatsoever. If you are using windows, you simply download the zip file for the mod you want to install, (In this case Docking_Port_Alignment_Indicator-6.5.1.zip) and then double-click the zip file to open it to see the contents. If there is a GameData folder inside the zip file, double-click to open that also. Then, Open another file explorer window (Win-key + E) and go to the KSP folder on your computer. In the KSP folder, double-click the GameData folder to open it up. Then you just drag & drop the mod's folder (in this case "NavyFish") from the zip file and drop it in the GameData folder on your computer. If you do not already have ModuleManager in your computer's GameData folder, copy that over also. That's all there is to it. You open two windows and you perform a drag and drop. Hope this helps. CKAN is great and all, but perhaps it causes people to think that installing mods is difficult when it really isn't

I wish I knew, too. Alex indicated that he's pretty busy with RL, and hasn't been active in our testing for a few weeks.

@MOARdV is presently working on a successor to RPM, but has kept RPM updated. He has posted this link to a beta version that works in 1.2

Along the same lines, it would be nice to be able to remain inside IVA (reliably) when un-docking from the Target screen. And intra-ship transfer from IVA while you're at it.

Since we're doing it all via PM and dropbox file exchange, I think that is a safe assumption.

Does anyone know how to format this variable in the screen .txt file so that it will always have the exact same number of places, whether there is a minus sign "-" or not. RELATIVEINCLINATION: 45.0000 RELATIVEINCLINATION: -45.0000 In plain language (which I need) I want the first one to insert a blank space before the "4" if the value is positive, and to not do so if the value is negative. Then the numbers on-screen would always line up. Thanks. I figured it out.

ASET Props Pack. v1.5 (for the modders who create IVA)
nukeboyt replied to alexustas's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
@Murican_Jeb said: Are there any Mk-1 cockpits that are compatible with this? Here is a Mk-1 cockpit made by @alexustas that is presently in beta-testing. It is definitely going to be worth the wait. (Anyone else having problems on the forum with "Quotes" not working properly?) -
It took me a while to figure out the abbreviations that @alexustas and @MOARdV use in their screens, and when you would use the information. I've created a few photos of some of the screens I found most confusing at first. Hopefully, some of you may find this information useful. For the most part, Alex and MOARdV have been consistent in the naming of variables; ie Phase Angle on one screen, means the same as Phase Angle on a different screen. Note: These images were all taken in the beta version of ASET, that is currently in testing. If you see errors, please let me know so that I may correct them

With Alex's permission, I offer a new video, IVA Rescue on Minimus. It shows some of the highlights and features inside the upcoming A.L.C.O.R capsule, as well as some of my tips for using its capabilities to the fullest. Enjoy. This video was made during beta testing.

@MOARdV. I just noticed that the Target Management menu does not seem to allow targeting an object on the surface (like a base, flag or Kerbal on EVA). Am I missing something? If possible, please consider adding this ability to the successor to RPM.

Did you install Module Manager? The symptoms you describe are similar to when I did a clean install, but forgot to install ModuleManager.

I know that it has worked in previous versions, (See below), Since there's been no change to the RPM coding on this, it must be something from SQUADs changes as you said. Thanks KSP v 0.25 JSI v as shown below. Note: the craft in a similar hyperbolic trajectory.

@MOARdVIs this a bug? The game can calculate Pe and Time to Pe on this hyperbolic trajectory. The Mod (v0.28.0.13911) cannot. It can see Pe but not Time to Pe

Do you have ModuleManager installed? The symptoms you described match what I see when I uninstall ModuleManager.

ASET Props Pack. v1.5 (for the modders who create IVA)

THANK YOU! The "find in files" was the part puzzle I was missing. It's much better than what I got before. But it didn't quite get them all. (It found over 400 with the first find and replace and 27 or so with the second). I'm going to try again with a clean install. Edit: Clean Install did the trick!! -
Thanks. I will give it a try. Edit Tried Ship Manifest. It works with 1.1.3. It does allow one-click transfer of a kerbal to another seat in the same craft, but it kicks you out of IVA as soon as you push the button.

I wasn't clear. I meant I wish you could transfer a Kerbal from one seat (like in the CSM) to an empty seat (like in the LEM) without leaving IVA

Noticing some sort of weird artifacting when using a docking camera. The in the second between the two pictures, the mouse was moved ever so slightly and the "artifact" disappeared. Also, it changed in size as the mouse was moved around.
