I cannot find the modified Mk 1-2 command pod? All that's present is the RPM monitors, not Alex's IVA. I recently had to re-install my OS and am using a clean copy of KSP. Obviously I've installed somethings incorrectly. Only thing missing (I can tell) is the Mk 102 command pod. Thanks

'MK1-2 Pod' IVA Replacement by ASET[v0.3]
nukeboyt replied to alexustas's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Check to see if you're using the latest version of RPM. I had same issue. Updated RPM fixed it. -
To celebrate the inaugural voyage of the updated ALCOR pod, I wanted to see if I could figure out how to do a interplanetary transfer using only the information available in IVA. In other words, no maneuvre nodes or even map mode. As it turns out, the ALCOR & RPM combination provides all the information necessary! Here's my first attempt at recording a voyage. I apologize for how long it is, but it's one-take and it gets the job done. Thanks ALEXUSTAS & MOARdV for creating / maintaining these GREAT Mods. I would have stopped playing KSP A long time ago, but for these two mods in particular. I hope you get lots of rep & support.

The plethora of information available on that large screen is a welcome addition to the Mk 1-2. Good job, sir. Well done. -

I'm planning an IVA-only flight to Mun, or Minimus where I will rendezvous and dock with an orbiting space station. I've done parts of this before, but never both together. I want to figure out a way to transfer to a lander vehicle and go from the station down to the surface.

Thanks

Is anyone aware of a mod that allows transferring from one command pod to another on connected vessels (like Command Module to LEM) without leaving IVA view?
-
No. I do not believe that this mod (by itself) adds the PFD you're looking for. However, there is a mod on the way that uses RPM to do it. Take a look at Alexustas' . No release date yet, but it looks very promising.

If you have the previous version of Raster Prop Monitor, you can install that and it will work until it gets updated.

You BOTH deserve many accolades!! The work you're doing well undoubtedly leave us with the best shuttle mod, and so much more. -

Just wondering, are you going to publish that cool-looking IVA you had in your ? -
Yes, there are quite a few buttons & switches. Many of them have no function other than being able to be operated. Others only have a function if you have a particular mod, (like Mech Jeb or Scansat). The ones to the left of the pilot are for Mech Jeb. Some buttons are programmable and will operate your action groups. In the VAB or SPH, in the vehicle's description window type "AG1=Solar Panels" (no quotes) and voila, upon launch the first action group button will be labeled "Solar Panels". "Put each AG#=" on a new line in the description box. With practice, you'll learn all the important buttons. And Wait until you get deep in the different RPM screens that Alex has customized. HUGE AMOUNTS of information that all make the IVA most enjoyable. I particularly enjoy performing ALL-IVA missions from Launch to Splashdown (except for any surface sample collection, or space walks to attach struts, etc) I made a couple of of really fun IVA missions.

HUD looks GREAT. Being new to HUD's (couldn't use before you fixed the OpenGL bug) I am wondering what is the function of the two yellow markers?
