  1. I think you have two options if your concerned for your Kerbals. (I did no math at all, so don't trust me) Send them to Gilly, you should have enough fuel to get there. After that take another ship and send it to Gilly for them to dock together and one take the fuel, and go back home. You could also abandon the mission to go to Gilly and send 'em straight back to Kerbin at the first window.
  2. Hooray! Attempt #2 is a complete sucess! Here is the beast on the launch pad: And after 30 seconds, just look at that altitude! WHOOPS! I didn't measure it correctly, this isn't impressive at all.
  3. Awww c'mon, I hate when I learn about good looking games BEFORE they're released.
  4. Oh my gosh, I played their "take on helicopters" but for Mars? Its like bacon with ice cream! Is it available yet? I WANT IT
  5. Well, yes, but water gives us a good chance of life right? A moderate chance even?
  6. Go ahead! Post 'em! These are mine: Most songs these days are just 5 minutes of people swearing. These people's songs are actually thoughtful.
  7. Dang man, water most always means life. I take full credit for the idea of modifying a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunker_buster to penetrate the surface and see if there is life.
  8. I wouldn't know about all that techy stuff, I struggle to install mods. But you COULD just be a badass and make a mobile rocket to drive over there...
  9. Whoops, forget this post. PS: I'll keep this bookmarked, just incase you come out with a legit multiplayer!
  10. Beautiful. If you did this by hand (which it looks like you did) I worship you.
  11. So I was trying to make an accurate spaceshutte replica in KSP. I failed, mainly because of the boosters overpowering the smaller engines on the shuttle. I tried looking up pictures, and it showed that NASA actually pointed their engines on the shuttle towards the large orange tank. This centered the center of lift! I tried it out and it worked like a charm.
  12. Man that must be fun. I'd be lucky if my KSP hating brother let me teach him how to dock.
  13. Most of the time, I like to have mostly probes, with Kerbals limited to extremely tested vehicles, or inside Kerbin's SOI for easy rescue missions. Usually, getting stranded in Kerbol orbit is a death sentence, because I am not skilled enough to dock like that. As of right now, I have only landed Kerbals safely, and returned safely on a few planets. But I think that its the most fun way, and games like this are just to squeeze out enough enjoyment as possible, not a set guideline. So, yes, I like to keep my Kerbals safe.
  14. 5/10 I think I remember you, but only vaguely.
  15. My god, I try and show off as much as I can. My neighbor Jerry has huge telescopes, and everyone once and a while me and my family go down to look at the stars with him. Its beautiful. One night I got to answer a whole ton of geeky questions about space, including correcting Jerry's friends, who were much more experienced than me.
  16. Ok everyone, I think we can chop this up to terrain glitches. Nice work people.
  17. Bad...ass Now all you need is to make it explode.
