Just though I'd let the OP and ppl know: setting the cfg file to 1.2 for the intensity values makes the lighting more realistic and not overwhelmingly bright. I find this value to be a perfect balance. @Kopernicus:AFTER[Kopernicus] { @Body[Sun] { @ScaledVersion { Light { sunlightIntensity = 1.2 scaledSunlightIntensity = 1.2 IVASunIntensity = 1.2 ambientLightColor = 0,0,0,1.0 } } } } Great mod btw. I love the realistic shadow effects this gives the darkside of anything in space. Really brings out the necessity of having good lights available on your mission.

Yup. Installed from CKAN. and Yup, did not check to install the Kerbalism Default Profile (which loads RoverDude's Community Resource Pack, which is a requirement for Kerbalism). Downloaded Kerbalism Default Profile on CKAN and issue now fixed. No more red battery icon, and I get EVA lights now.
-
I installed it. Still no fix. Only when uninstalling Kerbalism do EVA lights work. Furthermore, the issue appears to be with Kerbalism as EC % for the EVA does not register when hovering over the full, but red colored battery icon in the Kerbalism info window.
-
I'm not getting EVA lights to turn on with Kerbalism installed. Battery shows full, but red. Fresh EVA. Ideas?

[1.10.1+] Contract Configurator [v1.30.5] [2020-10-05]
inigma replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Great! Ya https://github.com/jrossignol/ContractConfigurator/issues/560 is sort of a major GAP breaker. Without repeatable contracts, GAP is essentially ground to a halt. Here's hoping you can find a moment to look into it.- 5,206 replies

GAP update: all contracts fully CC 1.17 compatible, and contract sorting finished *whew*. Now on to the critical bug: Charter Flight 4 is all you're being offered. Well, it's actually worse than that. All other repeatable contracts (max completions = 0) that come later in the sort order in Mission Control will never generate. If you set Charter Flight 4 max completions = 1, then Flight 45 will generate.... forever... until you set its max completion above 0 as well. It appears to be a CC bug at this point. I've reported it. This bug affects KSC Coast Guard and other repeatable contracts in other groups. https://github.com/jrossignol/ContractConfigurator/issues/560

[1.10.1+] Contract Configurator [v1.30.5] [2020-10-05]
inigma replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I think I discovered a more serious bug though with contract generation for repeatable contracts in the same group. [LOG 00:37:39.182] Added -1.000012 (-1) reputation: 'ContractDecline'. [LOG 00:37:39.192] [DEBUG] ContractConfigurator.ConfiguredContract: Initializing contract: CONTRACT_TYPE [Charter-Flight-4] [LOG 00:37:39.205] [DEBUG] ContractConfigurator.ConfiguredContract: Initialized contract: CONTRACT_TYPE [Charter-Flight-4] [LOG 00:37:39.366] Added -1.000011 (-1) reputation: 'ContractDecline'. [LOG 00:37:39.375] [DEBUG] ContractConfigurator.ConfiguredContract: Initializing contract: CONTRACT_TYPE [Charter-Flight-4] [LOG 00:37:39.388] [DEBUG] ContractConfigurator.ConfiguredContract: Initialized contract: CONTRACT_TYPE [Charter-Flight-4] [LOG 00:37:39.549] Added -1.00001 (-1) reputation: 'ContractDecline'. [LOG 00:37:39.558] [DEBUG] ContractConfigurator.ConfiguredContract: Initializing contract: CONTRACT_TYPE [Charter-Flight-4] [LOG 00:37:39.572] [DEBUG] ContractConfigurator.ConfiguredContract: Initialized contract: CONTRACT_TYPE [Charter-Flight-4] [LOG 00:37:39.732] Added -1.000009 (-1) reputation: 'ContractDecline'. I have a KSC Air Charters group in Mission Control with Charter Flight 4, 45, and 5 in it. 45 and 5 are depending on 4 completing. All three are repeatable contracts with max completions = 0. When I complete Charter Flight 4, it is offered over and over again, and Flights 45 and 5 are never offered - even if I constantly decline Flight 4 as in the log above. Only when I set Charter Flight 4 to max completions = 1 does Flight 45 generate, but then never Flight 5 until I set Flight 45 to max completions = 1. It seems as if you can duplicate this by setting a contract to max completions = 0, and have its sort order or alphbetical contract name first before all others. Other equal contracts in the group will never generate, only that one first listed contract. Thoughts? edit: reported here: https://github.com/jrossignol/ContractConfigurator/issues/560- 5,206 replies

[1.10.1+] Contract Configurator [v1.30.5] [2020-10-05]
inigma replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Noticing that Any is not really applying when one of the option is a NEEDS: //KSP-IslandPrep - Kerbal Space Program: KSC Island Airfield Preparation CONTRACT_TYPE { sortKey = b2 //REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTRACT TO APPEAR REQUIREMENT { name = Any type = Any title = Complete KSP Island Survey or KSP Island Landing REQUIREMENT { name = CompleteContract type = CompleteContract contractType = KSP-IslandSurvey minCount = 1 } REQUIREMENT:NEEDS[BDArmory] { name = CompleteContract type = CompleteContract contractType = KSP-IslandLandingBD minCount = 1 } } Mission Control displays the first as met (when I meet it), but the second as unmet (beacuse i've not played that contract yet), so then the KSP-IslandPrep contract is never offered. In short, it appears Mission Control is ignoring the Any type for the requirement and is instead requiring both be met before offering KSP-IslandPrep.- 5,206 replies

Using PQS was responsible for issues with spawning climbers for the K2 rescue and other spawn issues for other contracts due to collisions with the terrain on spawn. Lat long values were more reliable. It was because of this I decided to forgo PQS. I might revisit it at some point in the future. You are welcome to add any changes to the GAP pack as a contributor on GitHub. Anyone is welcome to join the GAP development project there. https://github.com/inigmatus/GAP

[1.10.1+] Contract Configurator [v1.30.5] [2020-10-05]
inigma replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
The sort key is still alphabetical though purely since if I list: 1 10 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 The 10 sortKey is sorted at the top after 1 and before 2. Any chance you could have sortKey recognize numerical order as well? I think that's pap's actual issue since he says he's spacing them by 5, which means since sortKey is still using alphabetical order and not allowing for numerical order, even after he updates to the current dev build he will still have the issue.- 5,206 replies

[1.10.1+] Contract Configurator [v1.30.5] [2020-10-05]
inigma replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
hmm... i did that (put sortKey in the child groups, each unique as above), restarted KSP, no effect. no errors in log (no mention in debug log concerning sortKey)... hmmm. Is sorting working? It still sorts alpahbetical no matter the numbers. Or did I read this was a bug a few posts back? Edit: looks like @nightingale said he fixed it in the next release... so I'm gonna test it using his dev version. Edit2: confirmed fixed in dev version. Thanks @nightingale !- 5,206 replies

[1.10.1+] Contract Configurator [v1.30.5] [2020-10-05]
inigma replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
help me understand sortKey? I have several contract groups under the main GAP contract group. How to sort them in my own order? For example I want SSI Aerospace to show first, then SSI Aerospace Market, then Kerbal Aircraft Builders: CONTRACT_GROUP { name = Giving Aircraft a Purpose 1.3 displayName = Giving Aircraft a Purpose minVersion = 1.17.0 agent = GAP tip = Giving aircraft a purpose... sortKey = CONTRACT_GROUP { name = SSI Aerospace-Economy displayName = SSI Aerospace Market minVersion = 1.17.0 agent = SSI Aerospace maxSimultaneous = 0 maxCompletions = 0 } CONTRACT_GROUP { name = SSI Aerospace displayName = SSI Aerospace Contracts minVersion = 1.17.0 agent = SSI Aerospace maxSimultaneous = 0 maxCompletions = 0 } CONTRACT_GROUP { name = Kerbal Aircraft Builders displayName = Kerbal Aircraft Builders minVersion = 1.17.0 agent = Kerbal Aircraft Builders maxSimultaneous = 1 maxCompletions = 0 }- 5,206 replies

Thank you! I'm well on my way to fix incompatibilities. It's fair to say that CC 1.15 broke GAP, but only in the short term. I'm aiming to post an updated GAP by end of this month.

Hey @nightingale I've been out of the contract dev loop for a while. Based on what you know about GAP, do you have a list of items I need to develop/improve to make it compatible with the new CC? I think you posted in your thread to a group of us modders, but I figured I'd ping you through here if you could help point me in the right direction. I want to get GAP taking advantage of the new KSP 1.1.3 and CC changes. I'll dig through what I can, but any pointers you could send my way would be golden as I get started. For everyone else: GAP Status as of 8/15/16: Well, I have a new Windows 10, clean install. Downloading KSP 1.1.3 as I write this, and will be re-setting up my Github to start working on GAP again. Version: thinking about jumping this into GAP 1.3 to be fully compatible with the new CC and KSP 1.1.3 changes and get the Cargo contracts done at the same time. Targeting for end of month readiness. Popular GAP-Friendly Mods: KAX works in 1.1.3 though its not updated officially for it. TakeCommand works in 1.1.3 with a recompile found here: SM Chute working with 1.1.3 BDArmory has been rescued by PapaJoe and made compatible with 1.1.3 (oh yeah!) Playbility status: it appears some of you are experiencing an issue with only being offered Flight 4 and no further. I will look into this as my top priority and will be one of the fixes in GAP 1.3.

Cupcake's Dropship Dealership...

I would love to see you play a career mode. -
I've not looked at GAP since 1.1.2 and only briefly in 1.1.3 to verify it loaded. I've not tested contracts since the CC version mentioned in the OP. I've yet to implement required improvements to GAP code with the new CC updates. Now that I've concluded the Air Superiority Challenge in Challenges, I'm coming back to work on GAP... if only so I can finally play my first ever career game in KSP. I have no other online or gaming commitments, so I will be devoting time to this soon.
