  1. LOL. Thank's Redshift. Most amazing compliment too. Just for that I'll be sure to cameo you in the next film credits I make! Glad you like the craft, and the vid, and story.
  2. Thank you! Hope she flies well for you. - - - Updated - - - Thank you Yukon! - - - Updated - - - Engineering is your thing. Glad I could put you on the MC roster. - - - Updated - - - Totally awesome! If you have screenshots or make a vid, share 'em! - - - Updated - - - Fixed! Thanks for pointing that out! - - - Updated - - - Thank you! A modular STS is what I think will help spur the creation of additional cargo bay based subassemblies when 1.0 hits. - - - Updated - - - Neat! I'll add it to the subassemblies list. Have a craft?
  3. Finally she's done. New video too - and those of you who have been a source of inspiration or helped out, you guys have been credited with special mention in the credits at the end. Enjoy!
  4. arc555 can I ask you do me a HUGE favor? I'd like to turn this into a printable and foldable craft. I just don't have the time to do it, but I'd love to provide fans of this craft with something they can print and fold themselves! Craft File: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/108219-STS-1-Space-Shuttle-%28NASA-Replica-Easy-to-Load-Fly%29-Launch-Full-O-Y-Tanks-to-Orbit-CRAFT-UP! Would you like to help? If so, I'd make you a starring cameo in my next STS video.
  5. Fortunately for those who want it now, and cheap, there's Paper Space Program - print out and fold your ship into 3d awesomeness: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/84621-Paper-Space-Program-%28-a-k-a-KSP-Rocket-Parts-Papercraft%29
  6. Hey Claw, check out the credits when you get a chance: You have saved a legacy. Thank you again.
  7. Now for an epic showcase film: Btw, a number of you are mentioned in the credits. Check it out.
  8. Hey fans and fellow engineers. The all new STS-4 has finally been published! Video on the OP. New film. Took a while to make. But I think it's worth it. Can I finally get an epic engineer nomination?
  9. That is amazingly awesome! I will post it on the STS op asap! Have a name for your shuttle? Space Shuttle Explorer? If so I'll add whatever you decide to a registry in the same op too as a thank you for flying a successful mission! Also STS-4 is due tonight sometime... enjoy!
  10. Jaw drop. Have you considered a career with Shuttlecraft Systems Inc.? Seriously awesome spaceship. How well she fly? You can glow nacelles with well placed blue lights I suppose. Maybe add a horizontal gap in your nacelles for effect.
  11. I updated this for .90 This is pre .90, but at the time of its development a year ago, it was the smallest such SSTO ever developed at the time. It lead to the creation of Shuttlecraft Systems Inc. and inspired dozens of small SSTO VTOLs. I've always wanted a 3d print of it. I suppose I'd like a render of it too. I have the computer to do it. Just not the time. I'll post a craft file shortly if interested. Dubbed the Telsa Roadster of the skies, the SSI Ion:
  12. The all new STS-4 turning over to a drop tank position. Download will be published tonight!
  13. Turning over to a new page of space exploration. The STS-4. Almost ready. Video is done. But... I'm thinking I'd like to addd a little Chatter to it. So... video and craft by tomorrow night. Starwhip, hows the rendering possibilities coming?
  14. Because Kerbalized Space Shuttles are just too cool: a WIP that will be published in my STS Space Shuttle thread (see my sig link) later this week. And yes Virginia, it's all stock parts and thus printable... edit: video posted here http://bit.ly/18ef2dO
  15. You are missing stock parts. I recommend you install a fresh copy of .90 KSP. - - - Updated - - - No worries. Thanks for working so hard on it! All, video done. Now in post production!
  16. I'm interested. btw, video editing is finished. Now it's time to come up with some creative text for it, finish the audio mastering, and publish it. Maybe Thurs.
  17. I was just made aware of this honor. Sounds interesting. I used to think I spend a lot of time on KSP, the Wiki, forums, Reddit, and Youtube. The existence of this group only confirms it. lol Thanks for the reps. Now to get back to my first actual KSP film... 80% done. edit: Oh and wow I just noticed I need to clean up my sig... I have stuff from years ago on it... ha!
  18. I think I will call it the Sudden Accident Management Pararescue Attachment or SAMPA. Is that ok? - - - Updated - - - Double thanks Starwhip. you rock. - - - Updated - - - Thanks! I spend toooooo much time on KSP heh. It's just that good of a game.
  19. Hmm I bet this could be made into a nose cone subassembly... which opens up interesting possibilities... I'd have to reengineer the cockpit internals. might be fun to do.
  20. Hey now there's an idea for a new subassembly... a parachute module... hmmm. I could add it as a sub to the ops module sub or extend it and release it as an ops and rescue subassembly... what do you think?
  21. STS-4 is designed to address MechJeb control issues with undesired roll, but MJ launch lurch with STS-3 should be fixed by fuel tweaking as explained above. Let me know how it goes. What is your cargo? If you share a craft with your custom cargo I'll look at it and tweak the fuel for you and share it back so it flies right with MJ if you are still having issues.
