  3. CO2 is just stored in a buffer for the reprocessing into O2, excess is vented.

  10. Tried a plane design - but I was never really good at it. Noticed that KSC is sitting on almost half a million units Kethane - build a havester/truck and send it back for redesigning some parts, but concepts were proven here. Shifted my Kerbin mapping satellite to hopefully finish the last specks on the poles. Turned off mapping for Mun as it is finished 100% - low resolution only, but that will do just fine. Used some of my already spaceborn probes to leach science. Launched a mapping and scanning probe to Minmus - while waiting for the burn in LKO I leeched some more science. And on my way to Minmus while still high over Kerbin I noticed, that I could biome specific gravity readings from low AND high orbits, more science even. And lastly, I followed a piece of debris into the atmosphere so it could finally vanish. Next: Probe assembly due in 2d for Duna and Ion probe about to start its voyage beginning at Eeloo.
  11. @Spooks, Resender Are you playing with signal delay? If you dont want this, open the cfg file in the remote tech folder and set the signal delay entry from true to false - mind the capitalization though.

You would need a mothership with at least six Kerbals on board and the big round probe core disc - this can act as a second command center (but not as destination for science reports, for this you will still have to link back to KSC). Kerbals have no comm unit (yet?). They will have to bring their surface samples back to the lander. Best of luck!
  14. Do interstage/fuselage fairings add stability as if I added struts vertically along my rocket?
  15. Let me rephrase it as "delete selected parts you will not use in every size". My VAB is quite stuffed with all different parts - wish there was a way to introduce more department tabs. I know there are mods that filter mods in and out, but e.g. having IR and KAS parts together in one tab would be handy, as would having plane parts in another.
  16. As I read it: You must have the necessary RAM to load the game first, reduction takes place after everything is loaded, but you gain more RAM for the game to do stuff.
  17. B9 has many parts in one part.cfg - which is a bit inconvenient for deleting selected parts you will not use after every update. Is there a reason for this or could you change it in the next update that we have a seperate .cfg for every part?

  19. I actually never pay very much attention to the names of my kerbonauts - although I always take good care of them and even bring them home before every patch, ahm, space-time-inversion ... I only rarely take note of who it is, when I am not flying with The Trio. Thank you, OP, now I feel like a bad daddy.
  20. This is not always drawn for me, even when it should (probe ship with working connection to KSC). Huh?!
  21. How would I restore my mapped data when starting a new save and were unwilling to start all over again? Can I copy something over or would I have to setup a cheat-sensor with a view angle of 90 degrees?
  22. Did not hunt more mods or anything, I played! Despite a bug that prevented me from pausing the game ever without a crash. Finally sent my Trio to Minmus. Jeb was really happy. Mun came along and showed us the way home, quite literally. From Minmus, flyby Mun, to orbital rendezvous with a (nearly empty ...) tanker. Encounter was close, quite close! Someone dropped a magnet, but Jeb got it back. No littering the orbit, guys! Switched crews, the Trio returned with the tanker on RCS and landed in the atoll. The tanker crew was sent to land in the badlands - and they hit it, thanks to the additional fuel. And last but not least, experimental Ion Probe design - the dish actually blocks the solar panels ... the probe will orbit and gravi-scan Kerbin for 15 days until a Eeloo window comes up - can I make it? <iframe class="imgur-album" width="100%" height="550" frameborder="0" src="http://imgur.com/a/Plhi3/embed"></iframe> And, two days left until the Duna window for my now outdated (science gizmo-wise) Duna orbit and lander probe combo. Tomorrow: Finding out what bugs pausing the game with F3/ESC.
