Try deleting then reeinstalling SP+ and deleting its ATM cache files. (it will then have to rebuild them which will take awhile) also back up your saves that you care about that rely on this pack lest you accidentally try to load it with with it uninstalled. maybe run chkdsk too.... if things persist.

RO is just a set of configs that rescales other parts or alters their operating parameters. I forget if it also adds any new parts

Looks like it has everything that other pods have... but I haven't tried the Mk2 in career mode... playing around with this some more.

It should be configured for the fuel tanks of propellants that that ships docking there will need with enough storage space for the output of kethane converters. You should have a better idea of your needs than any of us though.. Yes, plan for resources that you havent the technology to use, but as you say you're planning around modularity then you have leeway. word of advice: reinforcing struts on tanks going up dry. They will undergo increased stress that wont be apparent dry. especially the long kethane tanks. I suspect because of their colliders. You dont want your station shaking itself apart the firstntime your mining ship transfers kethane over. I speak from experience on that.

Is the option missing or does something else happen? Please don't post KSP.log as it has almost zero troubleshooting value. Post output_log.txt instead (or player.log if on Linux or Mac OS) To find your log file: Windows: KSP_win\KSP_Data\output_log.txt Mac OSX: Open Console, on the left side of the window there is a menu that says 'files'. Scroll down the list and find the Unity drop down, under Unity there will be Player.log Aka Files>~/Library/Logs>Unity>Player.log Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Squad/Kerbal\ Space\ Program/Player.log But NOT ksp.log file. Especially not ever.

A major source of FF's NREs is from trying to retrieve flight data and/or celestialBody data before it even gets to the main menu. Harmless but distracting when trying to find real problems.

Why don't you try that using Real Solar System + Deadly Reentry + FAR. I dare you! I double dog dare you! -
Progress: As you can see, Jeb has oxygen resources during EVA now. (this wasn't happening before and the Ioncross EVA functions would continue to move oxygen over to the EVAed Kerbal until there was none left) What's still not working is that resources are not moved out of the Kerbal when he enters a ship. Apparently that part wasn't finished but it should be 1-5 lines to make it happen.

If desired, you can use MODEL{} nodes that contain only the necessary thruster transforms using empty GameObjects created in Unity. Edit: ModuleEngines uses Z axis; RCS uses Y axis

The studio that developed it was shut down. Pretty sure that means the servers too. Not sure what that means for single player mode; did it have an offline mode? I seem to recall that connection was mandatory....

It's a parts pack. There's no plugin involved save stock plugins. If it were a very old parts pack (basically before the PART{} configuration or before PartModule) then it might require special effort to get working, but it's not. Simply put, it's just not old enough to worry about. It'll work.

On the subject of poly count, it's not a bad thing to avoid going overboard, but poly count has less impact on performance than things like textures or part count. When you start getting dozens or hundreds of parts making up a space station, it doesn't much matter if the parts were low poly count or not. I guess what I'm saying is, it's good to keep an eye on it but not to be too worried about it.
