  1. I have no idea if this had already been reported or not, but with the latest version of the plugin, the stock wheel configs (as downloaded from github) seem to be utterly broken in 1.0.5. The wheels have the KF modules and seem to steer fine, but upon load they sink into the ground and provide no traction when powered, almost as if they were placed in the wrong orientation (except that they aren't ). Here's a picture of the problem: There are a few other bugs too. For instance, this specific wheel (TR-2L) randomly starts out with a crazy high RPM on load. I already tried my own futile attempts to solve this problem, but to no avail . It'd be nice to see this fixed, since the stock wheel physics are, well, absolute garbage.
  2. I consider making a thread about what's cheating is cheating and making a thread about what's cheating is cheating is also cheating. Conversely, not making a thread about not what's cheating is cheating is indeed cheating, as is implying a cheating thread about cheating is about cheating is cheating. Furthermore, making a post about what's cheating is cheating is also cheating is cheating, which is cheating. The way this can be prevented is by subtracting the amount of cheating from the amount of cheats and multiplying it by the "cheating about cheating is cheating" value and adjusting the "is cheating cheaters in cheats cheating also cheating cheaters cheating?" cheating level by that amount, but this might be cheating.
  3. You know you only need one version, right? Using more than one will just cause longer loading times and tons of problems.
  4. Nope, there's absolutely no need to tell him to not use mods. This is a problem that can be easily solved by either reading the README, thread op, etc. for installation instructions, which literally every mod has, or as Sarbian said, to use CKAN for all mods.
  5. Upload your output_log.txt per this stickied thread that says "read first" and I'll see what I can do
  6. This is probably from not having a FSCoolant resource defined, which is usually caused by not having Firespitter. Are you sure you have Firespitter and - if you do - that there's a Firespitter.cfg in the GameData\Firespitter\Resources folder?
  7. Why the hell did you ask this here and not the scatterer thread?
  8. Bac9 gave a fairly good comment about the matter in his KSC devblog, and I agree with him wholeheartedly:
  9. Can we just have an option for a bbcode editor (which IPS supports by default but was disabled for no discernible reason at all)? Please?
  10. Just do something I did. It's much easier but gives more or less the same result.
  11. Yes it is. What even stops you from installing it, and why wouldn't it be worth it in the first place? It's frickin scatterer, man.
  12. FYI I just ran into a few NSFW pics, so be careful when you're on it.
  13. Yeah, this happened before 1.0 too, but because of the changes with 1.0.5 the glowing effect is dependent on time, not heat. This means that all you have to do to get to the end of the Skipper's heat animation--and see the blue effect--is to just run it for a while, and it doesn't require any extra heat than normal. On a somewhat-related note, this is exactly what my old mod did, which also had the same issue.
  14. Not sure what you're saying, but you have to put the folder in the .zip in GameData. There are installation instructions too, make sure to read them.
  15. Post your output_log.txt (like what's in the stickied thread that says READ FIRST) and also your ModuleManager.ConfigCache in the GameData directory if that's possible.
  16. When it can put a fully-fueled Saturn V in orbit around Pluto with only a single stage.
  17. It's not really a matter of what comes out not being what you typed, but rather what you intend to type not being what you want it to be. For example, just pressing enter makes a double space: I didn't intend that at all. What's more is that I have no ability to figure it out myself. With BBCode, you can actually see the source code and "debug" it. Then again, arguing in favor or against any editor is meaningless if you're ideally going to be able to choose between two anyway.
  18. What you see is (sometimes if you're lucky and have tons of patience) what you get
