  3. I also got random moments where the FPS would go down to abysmal levels. I'll just play 0.90 until this is fixed, which sucks since the new features are pretty fun.
  4. I downloaded it, albeit to a separate folder, which is what I do every release. I played around with it and it was fun, but I'm probably not going to switch to it anytime soon because it just feels rushed, plus not all my mods have been updated yet.
  5. It's the new aerodynamics making things make sense. The way to get around this is to either keep a tiny TINY angle of attack during ascent (nearly impossible in KSP), concentrate your mass at the top of the rocket (pretty hard to do), or to add control fins at the bottom (easiest). I guess it's realistic, since look what happens when you and there's nothing keeping the rocket from getting just slightly out of line and then being flipped over by aerodynamic forces.

Of course, be careful as I haven't tried this yet, and remember to keep your old physics.cfg in case something goes wrong.

Or you could download 1.0 and copy over your save file and disable the new aerodynamics (a "switch" toggling between the new and old aerodynamics was mentioned in some stream) and reentry effects (apparently there's going to be a difficulty setting for it, so presumably you can turn it off) and see what happens.
  19. Jeb: I loved how whenever I get told to hold the heading on a vector I go to it and massively overshoot. After a few more passes that also overshoot I finally lock on. But of course that's boring so I shake the stick really fast and it's really fun! But it seems to use up all the RCS fuel and make Mission Control really mad. Bill: I also like how whenever I activate the SAS, it's supposed to hold attitude, right? Well, when I move the stick in one direction, the SAS just gives up and it doesn't counter any forces in the other two axes. It doesn't hold attitude well as a whole, either. Bob: Wait, are you sure these bugs are being fixed in 0.91 1.0? Jeb: Hey, they aren't bugs, they're features and also quite Kerbal-esque. Bill: At least it's better than the old SAS, but that actually held heading.
