[WIN][1.0.X] KSP x64 Total Unfixer [v2.2 04/08/2015]
ShadyAct replied to jrodriguez's topic in KSP1 Tools and Applications
All of the x64-checking plugins I have installed were unfixed except for the ProceduralParts.dll, is that normal? I'm using Procedural Parts 1.1.11, most recent as of this post. Edit: Fixed it. -
The same way cars kind of took away the need for horse-drawn buggies. I'd be perfectly fine with that level of micro-management being done away with.

[0.24.2] Classic Pack for KSP Interstellar Lite
ShadyAct replied to undercoveryankee's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
That might be the expanding parts bug that has remained unfixed through several official updates of KSP. This is supposed to fix it - http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/63109-0-23-Modulefixer -

[1.6.1] Soundtrack Editor 4.6 (2019-01-28)
ShadyAct replied to pizzaoverhead's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
You make it sound like the mods are in a reality show or something and more importantly it works in 0.24.2 x64 for anybody wondering.- 779 replies

[0.23.5] Planitron Reloaded - Update - (25th may '14 v0.3.7)
ShadyAct replied to philotical's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I didn't ask for sympathy either. I actually didn't ask anything of you. And is there a proper noun called "Details" or is that someone's name? I don't know them so I can't bring them. -
Bug/Crash report: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B61E0ok2QLl6RTRYMlJmbEJ0TzA/edit?usp=sharing Link to a zip file with the output_log, LOD's log, and an mmp file that wasn't recording (?) from the absolute very beginning, and a "Detailed Description.txt" When using Romfarer's Lazor System the window for flight control had parts missing - there's a screenshot in the zip of what I saw and what it normally looks like. Also, clicking the button for Action Group Manager in the Toolbar didn't bring up a window. Maybe it's possible for LOD to wipe out a window if it can hide parts of a different one. Would it be difficult to off-load textures into a different process (to circumvent the memory limit)? The more modern enb binarys for Skyrim do that, but KSP is obviously different so maybe it's completely impratical, I'm not a modder.

Advanced SRB dev [test version 0.7 released]
ShadyAct replied to kujuman's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I'm looking forward to this maturing and eventually becoming a finished product, I like mods that add another layer of realism or complexity for those that want to delve that deep. Do you need people to bug-test this? -
Community Mod Repository and The Majiir Challenge
ShadyAct replied to Majiir's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
"If the repository succeeded and Squad continued to run the Curse site, but modders ignored the Curse site ... " would have been clearer, but I felt that would make the sentence redundant. I wasn't trying to say a mod repository could succeed without anyone putting mods on it. -
Community Mod Repository and The Majiir Challenge
ShadyAct replied to Majiir's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Me too. Mostly because they think using Curse is a good idea, unless they made that announcement to indirectly put the community to work. If the repository is as successful as we'd all like it to be they'll probably endorse it on their own. If the repository succeeded and Squad continued to run the Curse site, but modders ignored it, do you think new users would be confused or distracted by it at all? It sounds like you don't need help with that to me but if you do I'm willing to lend a hand. If you can bear with me being a bit cheeky, what's a humpy dumpy? It sounds like something that would violate the TOS. -
Community Mod Repository and The Majiir Challenge
ShadyAct replied to Majiir's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
And Squad's endorsement matters because there could be a link to a Squad-endorsed community solution on the KSP Launcher instead of Spaceport or Curse. Right? I'm just trying to gain a greater understanding of this. -
[0.23.5] Planitron Reloaded - Update - (25th may '14 v0.3.7)
ShadyAct replied to philotical's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I went to Dres with this mod installed and it gave the planet a 70km atmosphere and more importantly the same gravity as Kerbin, leaving my lander with a TWR of 0.88 :| I uninstalled the mod so I could leave. I should mention that I'm not asking for support, hence the lack of details. If anyone else is going to Dres with this mod installed you should bring parachutes just in case. -
The link on the first page goes to dropbox but it says Spaceport in front - just a friendly heads up.
-
I always wondered why Kerbal Space needed to load every texture in the game to start. I mean, what if Skyrim did that?

Now-defunct-thread-that-should-not-appear-in-google-search.
ShadyAct replied to Cilph's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Are their any incompatibilities with ARM besides the Tracking Station UI? -
I think I'd be more inclined to destroy asteroids than I would be to capture them if they get in my personal space. (Kerbin's SOI) I haven't unlocked any kind of claw thing yet though.

Superstitious launch schedules, witchcraft and good luck charms?
ShadyAct replied to TimePeriod's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Not really, unless the definition of voodoo changed recently. -
Is linking to the post on facepunch against the rules too?
