I thought i was getting the same NRE but mine looks different. This happens when i reload a destroyed craft. BD, just a heads up since this mod uses .tga textures. Apparently the .tga texture loader is bugged and uses twice as much memory as png textures! Try running the game in opengl mode. Using just ATM my ksp once loaded was still hitting 2.9GB. Using opengl cut it down to 1.5GB
