  1. I've named him Snuffles. He comes bearing many gifts for other spaceships. Snuffles did not like going to space.
  2. Testing a wee rover/refueler for Minmus. Not sure yet how I'm going to get it over there though.
  3. Nope, just tried getting to the Mun using only solid fuel and monoprop. Neither are terribly efficient.
  4. In a completely unexpected turn of events, the solution was moar boosters! Who knew? RCS One in Munar orbit. RCS One on a collision course going for a Munar landing. Good job Jeb, good job.
  5. Jeb accidentally lost the secret recipe for liquid fuel, so KSC has had to improvise. It probably needs a bigger launcher to reach Minmus or the Mun, but I haven't done any further testing.
  6. Tried designing an Eeloo probe. Wanted to make it look like a TIE fighter, ... ended up looking like ... Baymax? Can't win 'em all I guess, back to the drawing board.
  7. Been playing for a lot longer, but this is the first time i bothered taking a screenshot apparently. Not sure which version this is, but it's at least 3 years old. Seems I was already building stupid crap back then as well.
  8. ... the heck kind of probe is that? Why it's a fully functional orbital bar & bbq or course. I dare you to do fancier.
  9. Had a contract for a wheeled outpost on Eve. It's unmanned, but just in case a Kerbal ever ends up on Eve, he or she will have something to do. It was a very rough atmospheric entry and landing. I lost most of the solar panels, some radiators, some wheels, and a landing leg, but enough of the craft survived to complete the contract and remain functional. The antenna of the plane also burned up, so I can't use it once I detach it. A shame since I've never tried flying on Eve and it was the only reason I brought the plane along since it wasn't required for the contract.
  10. Contract: expand orbital station Munbus with things So I built a thing! It required an ... uh, inventive launcher. The thing definitely did not like going to orbit. And here's all of the things together. My Munbus wasn't actually a station, but a prototype Duna exploration ship/lander/miner that got used for a Mun - Kerbin orbit ore contract. The actual Dunabus is currently home to Jeb, Bob and Bill on the surface of Ike awaiting its return window. Now the Munbus is a space station, and a lander, and a miner, and an asteroid grabber, ... and a modern art installation, ... and a bus. It's not great at any of these things but I had fun building it.
  11. Condemned Sent some Kerbals to death by boredom on an exciting adventurous scientific endeavour to Dres. By the time they got there the other Kerbals had already unlocked most of the science tree so there was really no point, but let's not tell these guys that. And yes, that's definitely Dres, not the Mun, or Ike, or the movie studio just behind the admin building. Also, I put too much cooling on the thing, and not enough comms and solar panels, ... and I can't remember why I put parachutes or a ladder on it. But hey, we made it to Dres anyway, so ... yay?
  12. Contract: Land a 20 Kerbal base on Minmus. Massively overdo it for no reason? Massively overdo it.
  13. a) Death is permanent. 2. Only plausible part clipping, so no fuel tanks within fuel tanks or anything. - No mods apart from visual mods, Mechjeb and/or KER for the main career and sandbox saves. IV. Wing it. Apart from some rudimentary dV calculations provided by Mechjeb/KER, I don't do math. * No autopilot except for the routine or boring parts. # Kerbfleet Order Zero: no Kerbal gets left behind. There will be a rescue mission of the rescue mission if needed. G. No physics exploits.
  14. Today, I've passed the 800hr mark playing KSP according to Steam. And I built this tiny little SSTO that fits in an mk3 cargo bay, horizontally as well as vertically.
  15. Today I encountered some bugs, or rather, walls. And I built this shoddy looking thing. No clue what it's good for, but it works.
  16. Duna! Immediately followed by the rescue mission to Duna. ... followed by the rescue mission of the rescue mission to Duna.
  17. Place the engines a bit more outward and throttle one down and the other up to turn in the desired direction?
  18. Tension so thick you can cut it with a knife it's causing atmospheric drag! You took that into account when plotting the trajectory, right?
  19. Another day, another SSTO. Today I built this evil looking stand-up guy. I'm not sure I can get her back from orbit though, she flies a bit sketchy on the ascent and that usually doesn't bode well for the way back down. I also don't have a clue about the range once in orbit, my mechjeb seems to have died in today's pre-release version.
  20. Today I built this funny looking thing. It flies a bit squirrely, but it gets to orbit just fine. The top can detach so there's a reason it looks like it does.
  21. Noticed that pretty much everything I have with wheels collapses on the runway in 1.1 Seems like i need to go a size (or two) up on my landing gear. And I built my first 1.1 SSTO, I'm quite happy with it.
  22. Got bored again. Built something stupid again. Wrestled it into orbit again.
  23. After a very long KSP break, I built something again. Still needs some tweaking though.
  24. I built a thing! Don't ask me what it's for, I don't know yet. I may have been a bit too ambitious. Getting the science module/low grav lander/lifeboat thingy out of the cargo bay took a while, because it's pretty much impossible. The remaining fuel balance is way off, I'll need to rework the landing gear, getting to orbit is a b*tch, and the partcount is too high. Other than that, it sort of works.
