  1. No all it can do is move with the capsule torque the rcs was with the decent stage.... sort of a bad design! XD
  2. Now i just landed on gilly (using mechjeb if you have to know) and was having fun watching jeb thinking he could fly. I got all my brave kerbonaughts out for a group photo which was good. But when I tried to get them back in i sort of flew them into the ladder (not very fast) and the entire lander split in two. I thought it was ok as it had split apart the ascent stage but then I remembered that i transfered all my fuel out of it and into the transfer stage as i didn't think I would need it. So I have three brave guys on gilly in a powered but fuel-less ascent stage. BUT I do have my transfer stage in orbit of gilly but i haven't a clue how to get it to the guys as it hasn't got a capsule so i cant fly them there. BTW my list of things on gilly or orbiting it: A small probe with some fuel The ascent stage The descent stage The transfer stage orbiting gilly Any ideas on what to do? Should I simply send a rescue mission?
  3. Yeah i do remember doing a quick save back then... not too bothered though as i get to do my eve mission again and stick a load of sciency crap on it which i forgot to do last time XD
  4. So I was coming down to land on the mun but was going way to fast. I knew i would crash so i decided to press f 9 to reload my last save. I didn't make one and presumed it would load from when i was in orbit or somthing. What it did was set me back about 5 hours of gameplay to when i was landing a probe on gilly... anyone know why it did this? PS: when it loaded the gilly landing i had done it about a week before which was even more weird.
  5. Ah ok I don't know how to add photos but i think i'll try spyritdragons idea. Thanks!
  6. Now I'm making a lander to go to duna and at first I was going to send up two ships and have them dock in orbit. But since the transfer stage is quite small it would be almost pointless doing that. So I am trying to get this into orbit but the top fuel tanks on the first stage sometimes "break" and leave me spinning out of control. Since their on top of each other its impossible to add struts in between them. Any ideas? Suggestions?
  7. Yeah this would be cool as it would make each kerbal more individual.
  8. Yeah that would be alright but I still think it would be useful!
  9. So, I was testing a large space plane which was to heavy to get off the runway just by using winglets so I added some small rockets to the side to help get it up. After a few seconds they suddenly stopped working and made the flame-out noise which was odd, so i looked at the fuel tanks and it said that only the oxidiser was gone. I then realised that it had used liquid fuel from the planes fuselage . I could make the rockets last longer if i had tanks with only oxidiser in them, it would also be useful in other situations as well. Who agrees?
  10. I dissagree completely it's just a fun challenge to see what people come up with. Stop being so specific A stable orbit is an orbit of your choice, it's kind of nice not to have a challenge where there are SO MANY rules.
  11. It would be useful to do this with space planes so if you cripple it you can dumb lots of fuel and land a lot lighter.
  12. To be honest I don't have any problem with manual landing gear. All you have to do is press G
  13. What a beauty!! An amazing ship which dwalfs any ship I make what are you planning for the munbug X?
  14. I'm not exactly new to the game but my rockets never had enough fuel and when i managed to get a good orbit I always crashed into the surface of the Mun. I also like the asparagus staging on the first stage which makes it last WAY longer that mine.
  15. Does anyone know what sticky keys ACTUALLY does? I dont XD
  16. I can approach the mun and make a good orbit with it but when I try to land I always crash Can somone help me and also give a good rocket with enough fuel to allow for errors!
