  1. Thank you for updating for 1.0! For some reason McAfee Web Adviser says that the latest download file is malicious. Further scanning showed it was fine though.
  2. I've enjoyed Mechjeb for 3 years.. and I just realized people like me were the reason you only have 3 bars of rep :/. Seriously, you have one of the largest threads, and one of the most popular plugins in the KSP community, let alone the forums. The least I can do is rep.
  3. as adinfinitum said, you want higher speeds for your cpu cores, I'd say at least 3ghz. However, if you have star citizen, you may want to go with something that has the recommended specs. For KSP, a 970 is probably overkill. For star citizen and similar games, a 970 might be worth it if you like playing games on full graphics quality with plenty of fps. Star Citizen Recommended specs (this will probably run KSP suitably) Core i7-3770 4-Core 3.4GHz FX-8350 GeForce GTX 780 Radeon R9 290X 12 GB RAM Win 8 64 DX 12 50 GB Seems like you already meet most of these specs, but these are just running the game at mid quality. I would ask Whackjob for advice, I feel like he could point out some great stuff for ksp. Also here is a thread on the subject of CPU's: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/42877-CPU-Performance-Database And this thread is a great place to ask questions: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/25004-KSP-Unofficial-Official-Computer-Building-Buying-Megathread-%28All-Questions-Acceptable-%29?highlight=computer+build Hope I helped
  4. I have windows 8.1 and Battlefront II works great! It was on sale for less than 3 dollars (or something like that) on steam for the "May The 4th Be With You" sale. I'll just say I've sunk more hours into Battlefront II then I care to admit (though I had a few buddies who liked to play with me). I can't speak for other people, but I've personally found a lot of replay value. Republic Commando is a good game, though I haven't played it on Windows 8 (Yet) I've heard it works fine. One thing to keep in mind is that official multi-player services have been discontinued (for both titles), though there are still ways to play on servers.
  5. I think that happens to most new users. A lot of us try to give people their first rep, those grey-out bars are ugly. I always try to push people over to their next bar, managed to do it more than a few times. Creating content (crafts, videos, art, stories) is a good way to get rep. Helpful post's answering game-play questions.. surprisingly not. :/ I'm 10 away from my 3rd bar! So close..
  6. The about section of his channel: He really wasn't kidding about that procrastination. I must say this is one of the best procrastinations I have ever seen, the work of a master procrastinator. Well done Macey!
  7. Great find! I never would have noticed that.
  8. And of course, don't forget to check out Scott Manley. Welcome aboard!
  9. Yay, so glad to see he's back! However, what does this mean for his Oscar-B Award nomination for best inactive channel? D: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/115987-The-Oscar-B-Awards!-%28Now-with-a-Time-Extension-Maybe!%29
  10. Welcome! I haven't played multiplayer since KMP, so I don't really know. (though in KMP there was a menu in-game that you could use to do all that). I would suggest making a post in the DMP thread, they should be able to help you. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/79111-DarkMultiPlayer-0-1-0-0-KSP-0-23-5-Alpha
  11. Welcome to the forums! Can you post a link to your channel?
  12. The boundary used to be at 69,078m, but it has been changed to 70,000m, as others have stated here. As for the contract, it could be as MechaLynx and 5thHorseman said, you need to be in a stable orbit with a periapsis high enough. Also sometimes the wording on these contracts can be deceiving, make sure that your doing everything the contract says. If it's a matter of trying to fine tune your orbit, you can right click on the engine and reduce it's thrust limiter to make more precise correction burns.
  13. I do get that vibe from it, which kind of makes sense considering the A4 was in service then. The reason I don't like it so much is because I really enjoy seeing all the motion behind moving the wheels. I might try to do something without a tender, a tank engine, or maybe an electric engine.. I've always liked the PRR GG1.
  14. The A4 looks really cool, the only thing that I don't like is that the wheels are covered up on some of them. I'm thinking when (if) I ever make another, I'll try to do something that reduces the part count.. or I might go all out and make a union pacific big boy! (my computer says the first option is better). Also, by Wigeon, do you mean a duck, or an asteroid? Oh wait.. I get the joke. xD (it's a duck)
  15. This would be quite helpful, I hope this gets added.
  16. I'll give it a try, If I forget to post back here, assume I found no issues for 1.0 (No news is good news, after all).
  17. 1.0.1 you say? EVERYONE GET BACK ON THE TRAIN!
  18. Hello. Your videos are great!

  19. Thank you guys! Zekes , that means a lot coming from one of the forums big builders. Also, I have added the download for the Hoopla Puff Jr. Link in the first post, and here as well. http://kerbalx.com/Ival70/Hoopla-Puff-Jr I was also going to split up the Hype Train Express into individual components, but I've been side-tracked playing 1.0. I'll get to that soon hopefully.
  20. I suppose I could split it up into separate craft files for the engine, tender, and each passenger car. I know that the engine and tender together are over 500 parts, but about 100 of those are the KSP HYPE logo. and each car is less than 100 parts each, and they are all interchangeable.
  21. I was able to upload it to KerbalX pretty easily, I've added the download link, but I'll put it here too. http://kerbalx.com/Ival70/Hype-Train-Express-10
  22. Thanks guys! I'll see if I can figure out how to post the .craft files. If anyone has any advice on how to do that, I'd certainly appreciate it. Also, let's not forget Otterer, who helped a lot. By the way, The music used for the video was (in order of use) White Waters, Thomas The Tank Engine Theme, White Waters (again), Orange Blossom Special, and Crazy Train.
