When you're tired and overworked, it's surprising how easy it is to attach two things together in a way they're not supposed to be attached... on the other hand, it's surprising how hard it is to attach two things that ARE supposed to go together, like our old friend USB plug can attest... we all know that USB plugs have 3 sides

Not exactly a pet peeve, but... It annoys me greatly how the TR-2V's arrows aren't aligned with everything else, as if the part was slightly rotated clockwise... I know, its a minor thing, not actually a bug or problem, but I never seen this mentioned here on the forums, so I might as well mention it

Need a very, very simple structural piece
Thiagobs replied to RainDreamer's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
I've never used it, so I don't know its dimensions, but there's a smaller triangular plate on this mod here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/69539-0-23-Stockalike-parts-for-useful-esthetics Being a parts pack only, I assume it works well with 0.90 Edit: and I just noticed that it was updated and rereleased: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/102041-0-25-TurboNisuReloaded-Stock-a-Like-Parts-Pack-5-12-14 -
Does anyone know of any games relating to the Internet?
Thiagobs replied to Benjamin Space Program's topic in The Lounge
Not a common topic for gaming, I don't know any games that comes even close to that... ...however, your topic made me think about a hacking game.. I know it's not even near what you're looking for, but it's a good game nonetheless... Uplink -

Looking gooooood!!!! Been following the Omicron on its original Portuguese thread and can't wait to get my hands on it -
OMICRON - Carro Voador Espacial, criação das partes
Thiagobs replied to Climberfx's topic in Portuguese (Português)
kww.9giggle.kom - website full of memes, kerbals anonymously confessing their darkest secrets and asking why it's called "9" giggle and not exactly a website, but.. kww.humanspaceprogram.kom - website for a game where you can manage your own space program. Made by a small company called "Squadron", features some Kerbal-like squishy beings. kww.swear.kom / kww.swearforge.kom / kww.humanstuff.kom - Official and unofficial modding repositories for HSP

I've bought KSP around june/july 2013 and kept playing util december/2013, when my graphic card bit the dust... At the time, I had just bought a new place and was busy doing some renovations and furnishing it, to move in with the Mrs. and only had an old laptop that couldn't run KSP. I finally got around buying a new gpu in early august this year, so I've spent roughly 7 months away from KSP

Would it be this one? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/43840-Hab-Hub-%28and-other-strange-things%29 Scroll down a bit, after the radiators I'm not sure, but I think that part is also present on KSP Interstellar http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/43839-0-23-5-KSP-Interstellar-%28Toolbar-Integration-New-Models-New-Tech%29-Version-0-11

This mod, maybe? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/69539-0-23-Stockalike-parts-for-useful-esthetics

Let me see what I can do... I don't think it would match much the purpose of this parts mod, but I can make it as a separate download Nope, the corners aren't visible under the ship, if attached like shown on those screenshots Yeah, that's a KSP limitation, only two nodes can be attached when grabbing the part and the nodes have to be on the same axis That's the same problem we have with the stock structural hub part (and similar mod parts), depending on its rotation, you can't attach the part. I had to choose which nodes would be available for attachment, I picked the ones that people would most likely use first. The other unavailable nodes can be used once the part is attached (meaning, you can attach stuff to them, but can't be used to attach the part to other stuff)

Ahhhhhhhhhh Mega Drive.... Bons tempos! Acho que o meu tá escondido em algum maleiro na casa da minha mãe, hora de testar pra ver se funfa ainda! haha

Yeah, you're right... I was a little overenthusiastic with the texture... I am reuploading with a smaller version... You mean curved? I'm not so sure it would do much good, the curving would restrict what you could attach on the pallet... To circumvent that, I usually add something right at the center of the pallet, on the underside.. Like this:

Are you tired of EVAing all the bags and bottles from your Spaceplane to your Space Station, one by one? Is Jeb complaining that he's an Astronaut and not a delivery boy? Are you contemplating leaving Bob without his weekly supply of fiber rich cookies? Fear not!! We from ThiagoBS' Hardware Store are proud to present the MEPS - Multipurpose Express Pallet System Conceived when a clerk used a gardening trellis to carry some heavy boxes by the top minds of our construction store, the MEPS was created to facilitate resupply missions to space stations or planetary bases! Just attach any goods to a MEPS frame and ship 'em away! Just pick a frame, add a Docking Port and load it up with resources! Oh, and don't forget to attach it to a Rocket, Spaceplane or Rover/Truck, Courier Services are not included! Now with TweakScale support! ORI - Often (not really) Responded Inquiries (or FAQ, for you cool kids!) Q: Who? A: I'm ThiagoBS, been lurking on KSP forums for a while and, so far, been very addicted to this game! So addicted that I decided to make a completely useless mod for it! Q: Why? A: Why not? I wanted to make a resupply mission similar to what we have IRL, with the ISS and all, so I took upon myself to make this mod. This mod is based on the ISS ELC (ExPRESS Logistics Carrier, formerly know as Express Pallets) and the ORUs (Orbital Replacement Units). Q: How? A: Just grab one of the frames, add a docking port on the included mounting point and load the pallet with goods, attaching them radially. Q: Where? A: The MEPS Frames are located under Utilities Tab. If you're running Carreer or Science mode, they are unlocked by the Composites node! Q: They look ugly! A: That's not a question! Anyway, I know! I specifically learned Blender and Unity to make these parts, they are my very first venture on the 3D Modelling world! Q: This is stupid! Why not just dock a craft and transfer the resources? A: And where's the fun in that? I know that this makes things more difficult/annoying, but yeah... I don't know, I kinda wanted it, and I figured "why not release into the wild so the whole world can mock me use it?" Q: Are there any dependencies? A: Nope, none! Wait! Just one! You must have Kerbal Space Program installed! Q: How on Earth will I load a pallet into a space station? A: Well, you can use a robotic arm, made with Infernal Robotics, or a Kerbal Attachment System crane. Or a Tug! Q: The prices and/or science node is not well balanced! A: Yeah, I usually stick to Sandbox, so I have no idea of what would be a fair price or node. Suggestions are welcome! Q: They wobble! Poke through the fuselage! They throw my craft around! Ugh! A: Yup, they do! Unfortunately the docking ports aren't the most solid, stable attachment ever, so you may need to strut the loose end to prevent disaster! Get your pallets here! DOWNLOAD (Mediafire) Alternate Mirror (Dropbox) Or on the nearest hardware store! Version History: v0.2.1 - 03/09/2014 - Reduced texture size to a more RAM friendly size v0.2 - 02/09/2014 - TweakScale support added - Fixed the radial attachment node on MEPS Offset frame v0.1 - 02/09/2014 - Initial Release UPDATED! Space Plane Cargo Bay Flooring! Here at ThiagoBS' Hardware Store we cater to our customer's needs! And if our customers need less space flooring on their cargo bays, we must oblige! Available in four flavors, our Cargo Bay Flooring will provide the much needed horizontal surface to avoid payload poking! Fits well in Porkjet's Spaceplace Plus the new Spaceplane parts and B9 MK2 Cargo Bays! You want it? You need it? You have it! Just $99.99 (taxes and shipping not included) DOWNLOAD(Mediafire) Alternate Mirror(Dropbox) Notice: Due to some wonkiness on how the game treats cargo bay's thin colliders, the flooring may try to attach underneath/outside the cargo bay at first, just rotate the part using Q/E and attach it inside Version History: v0.2 - 27/10/2014 - Updated to KSP v0.25 v0.1 - 12/09/2014 - Initial Release Serious Stuff: This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Eh, I know it's extremely unlikely for the Grox, but I like to think they would partner up... The Grox have superior firepower, but they would take a good look at the Kerbals and their ingenuity.. I mean, the Kerbals can build huge monstrosities, I've seen space stations that would be close to the size of a Spore's moon... But then, the Grox are very single-minded... Aaaaaaaaand, also... long time I played Spore, but for all the in-game lore, the Grox are more of an annoying race that every now and then comes to have their ships destroyed than an actual threat...

Good work! It's a nice idea and a solid part! However, if you allow me, I have a few suggestions.. 1. The overall shape of the module doesn't match the ALCOR capsule. If you can make the side faces to match ALCOR design, it will fit better; 2. The ALCOR capsule have a lower, downfacing window that gets blocked by your module. If you can, make it as not blocking the view; 3. Tweak the attachment areas above and below the pod. The area above is slightly larger/wider than 1.25m. The area below is smaller than 1.25m but larger than 0.625m; 4. Make the attachment area underneath recessed into the pod, that would allow users to put a taller engine and still maintain clearance; 5. Add one more landing leg, making it 4, that way none of the legs are below the capsule window or below the airlock. Other than that, you have a nice mod there! Keep up the good work!!

You're absolutely right.. Based on Win8.1 Task Manager, by running OpenGL + ATM I saved roughly 1.60Gb, but calculating the percentages shown on my G510 (same applets as your G13) the savings are around 0.73Gb Now, I know that Task Manager isn't very accurate, but I suspect Logitech's PerfMon isn't spot on either, if not worse than Task Manager.. My only "real" indication that "some" ram was saved is that KSP never crashed again and I did stuff it with more mods...

Yup.. Disk 1 - C:\ Only Windows and programs that usually goes to 'Program Files' Disk 2 - Personal stuff and backups.. I often back up that disk and keep a close eye on it... if I lose this stuff, I'll cry.. hard.. Disk 3 - Games.. 1tb disk dedicated to games/steam/origin/uplay.. Disk 4 - My "Warehouse" disk.. everything that's not a game nor essential goes there.. downloads, musics, anything that if I lose, I can download again.. Sounds messy, but its well organized.. kinda...
