  1. Thanks!! I'm using Karbonite's Aft Mounted Propfan (one that uses LFO instead of Karbonite), it was the only rear mounted propeller engine I had at the moment and didn't want to go fishing for mods... Looks weird, too "futuristic", but since it wasn't supposed to be a serious craft, I didn't worry too much about it
  2. Today I made a tongue-in-the-cheek craft resembling Santos-Dumont's 14-Bis... "Jeb managed to convince the higher-ups and got his hands on a historical craft... Created by Santos-Dukermont, the 14-Kerbis was one of the first fixed wing airplanes in Kerbal history." And it flies pretty well!

  7. Tex_NL means that on VAB/SPH (the buildings where you build your crafts), the mod's parts are cataloged under different "categories" (those buttons/tabs on the left side of the partlist), like "command pods", "control", "utilities" etc

  9. Alright, fair enough... Quick feedback then.. You mentioned on the original post as one of the known bugs "Needs to know how to build the ships" I suggest then that you include a built craft (as a .craft file) for players who do not know how to build the ships
  10. Apparently they are stock parts welded using UbioZur Welding mod... They function as a single part and help with part count, reducing lag on large crafts, but I'm confused as to why someone would use this mod instead of installing UbioZur Welding and doing the welds themselves

Not even that, as the game already does (and did before) detect blocked thrust I particularly don't mind the stowed mechanics, as none of my usual craft designs are affected by it, but I understand that people wants some flexibility. Perhaps, instead of completely removing this mechanics, which I guess is unlikely, we could have some options... maybe a tweakable on cargo bays and fairings disabling the occlusion for that particular cargo bay/fairing. Or the same tweakable on engines, overriding the stowed status

  17. Yup, quit to desktop would be nice... ESC > Quit to Desktop > "Are you sure?": Yes Meanwhile, I just save and ALT+F4... If I have to wait 3 hours for the game to load (too many mods ), I won't wait for the game to quit Edit: Perhaps even a "Save and Quit to Desktop" and a "Quit to Desktop without saving"

  19. Bacana!! Testei esse mod a um tempo atras, é fantástico, gostei particularmente do fato de os pods e escadas iluminarem, mas como alguns mods reusam texturas da Squad, optei por não usá-lo... Mesmo tendo a opção de manter as texturas originais, acabei deletando ele para manter minha ram feliz Mas obrigado, vou dar uma olhada nele novamente... talvez modifica-lo para ter essas partes estruturais em paralelo

  22. That sound like a nice set of features for mods... That's a lot of work for an aspect that isn't the game focus... It is, after all, a Space Program.. Not many people care about underwater exploration, since it isn't what the game is about, so spending all that work on that aspect seems like a waste..
  23. I suspect that the support forums for console would be handled (and possibly hosted) by the company doing the ports... Console gamers could benefit from our experience on General Discussion and similar subforums, however those forums are filled with threads and posts mentioning mods and a console player may find it difficult to find useful information...
