  1. Part I - Establishing Life on Duna The journey to colonize Duna has begun!
  2. Unfortunately the landing of this isn't recording correctly. It gets very spotty. I'll keep trying today to see if I can get it to record though. Lander safely on the North Pole of Duna.
  3. I used the real audio transmissions from @NASA and added in some of the most historic, and lesser-known segments from the mission. You can hear the southern draw in some back in Houston. This is a tribute to Apollo 11.
  4. LUL this was the hardest mission I've done in a long time. I was not prepared for off centered center of thrust. Very weird flight mechanics. But it was actually fun. Thank you!
  5. I couldn't level out. I think if I burned retrograde on reentry and gotten my m/s to 100-200 I would've been able to glide it in. I've never made SSTO's or shuttles. This was my first true attempt at doing so. Lots I learned and still lots more to learn. Any suggestions on how to not come in perpendicular?
  6. Things I've learned making the Saturn V rocket... It is so much easier to fly a rocket than fly a shuttle. Off-centered center of thrust is so weird to fly. This feels far easier than my shuttle challenge I did to launch the Kubble Telescope. Apollo 11 in the VAB
  7. Apollo 15 to the Mun. WIll this count or does it not qualify for Jeb level? https://imgur.com/gallery/WkQADCq
  8. KTS-31 has delivered it's historic payload into LKO today! The Kubble Space Telescope will help map out the Kerbol system and investigate a nearby system that KASA Scientists have dubbed the "Deb Deb" system. Flight Engineers are currently working on deploying the payload. Final test flights for the Kubble Transportation System concluded last week. Here Kerbonaut Tim C. Kerman, legendary pilot and current Test Pilot for KASA, shows his skills in the final test flight of KTS before KTS-31.
  9. Flight Status: Complete, video incoming this weekend.
  10. Going to read this but appreciate the dev's screennshots lol In all seriousness, very excited to read about this and appreciate the images!
  11. Done. Now to up the ante and get something to Laythe and back. I enjoyed the biplane a lot! These weekly challenges are really fun! The colors and design of what you built is awesome! Well done for your first plane!!
  12. Specs: i9-9900k RTX 2070 32 GB @ 3200 mHz I run the game on high settings, AA on, 4x. 3-5 fps on launch. After clearing tower 15-30 frames. In orbit 45 frames.
  13. Well, I had come up with this idea a few days ago. I wanted to go to Laythe and fly a glider style craft on Laythe. I was inspired by the Wright Brothers. I built a biplane. I tested it. Today, I built a larger version capable of carrying a small rocket to orbit. Here's how this weeks challenge is going: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-VgZqAwQdzg
