@magnemoe the 737 i was flying is a payware add-on. Ive flown flightsim for decades and this was genuinely a first for me. I think the odds of encountering the exact real world aircraft youre using in flightsim is astronomically small. I mean look how many coincidences had to line up for that. I had to choose to fly when i did. That choice lead to the update chaos i faced. Then that lead to me choosing to fly to phoenix from where i did, which lead to my flying over el paso when i did. Not only that but how many other things lead to the real world aircraft leaving lax when it did? Id say winning a billion bucks in the lottery is more likely lol was still special to me 181709282023

Never have read that. Not real familiar with aussie air incidents being im in america lol. I have in fact myself been in an in flight emergency. I was a passenger on a TWA flight in the oldest 727 in commercial service when the cabin suddenly filled with smoke. Captain came onto the PA and stated the aircraft was fine, the aircrafts anti ice equipment malfunctioned and began exhausting into the cabin. He shut the anti ice off (i forget if it was wing or engine anti ice or if they specified) and it dissipated and we landed just fine at our destination. The only other issue ive had as a pax was on the ground when our captain tested the cabin pressurization system and it reported over wing door not sealed. Took a tech like 5 minutes to fix after we waited 45 minutes on a deice pad lol. Opened and closed the exit to fix it. TUBM has seen Fight Club 012209282023

Firstly, mine was taken from current real world ATIS and reads: winds 140 at 5 knots visibility 10 statute miles clear temperature 27 dew point 21 altimeter 29.96 (clear meaning no clouds at any altitude above the point the ATIS is taken from at the field) yours is mostly garbled but what does read clear is twr = tower clr = clear tkof = best guess is take off Rwy 20c = runway 20 center sin, qf35 are unknown to me. Im finally flying in flight sim after nearly beating my pc to death. Im doing a flight to phoenix in a 737-700 registration N268WN. Its real world counterpart will be landing in El Paso texas as i overfly El Paso. It amuses me to know the real world counterpart will be in roughly the same place as me lol 193209272023 im a few miles past el paso and never heard or saw my real world counterpart. I fly with live traffic on so i hear and encounter (when not on vatsim) real world air traffic. I guess flight sim removes your real world counterpart to avoid confusion. Kinda disappointing. Im in N268WN but my flight number isnt the same. I am SWA3712 it is SWA1695… still for me, as far as im concerned i over flew my real world counterpart. Currently? Resisting a very strong urge to take my computer outside and beat it with a bat. I just want to do a flight in flightsim and im fighting my computer. Itself wants updates, my sim wants updates, my payware aircraft want updates, my charts want updates, my gpu wants updates…. Then it said bandwidth was too low for data streaming….
