@Linkageless with “Silence calls from unknown contacts” it gives me a banner notification of the call as it shunts them directly to voicemail. No vibration. I had to turn that on when i started getting 20, 30, up to 40 a day. Phone kept skittering off like a possessed bug. 072902262025

My phone is always set to silent but vibrates when a call comes in. Until recently (2ish weeks ago) i was unaware of silence calls from unknown numbers which is now enabled as of 2ish weeks ago. Each call gets blocked and reported as junk. Some calls are reported to the national do not call registry. Call blockers are imperfect things that can block calls from legitimate callers such as potential employers or law enforcement (most officers have their cells caller id blocked). The better ones charge fees to have and i have problems with that idea. This will eventually pass. Eventually. Today is 1 full month. I will make a post at some point today when todays wave starts and update as i can. It sucks. I am slowly working my way towards Colonia, I have about 16211 light years left. I am doing some Exobiology on the way. I stopped at a pair of Moons in a system a few thousand lightyears out from Earth, it has a Methane atmosphere. I was the FIRST PERSON to land on these two moons, FIRST PERSON to map them, and FIRST PERSON to collect the biological data. currently playing Elite Dangerous, and I am making a journey of 22,000 LIGHT YEARS to a place called Colonia. I have a question for you dear reader. Would you be brave enough to fly into this? <sorry the image is sub par, its taken via my phone. The Nantang. It is a ship type called The Mandalay. As it sits in this image, I can do 72.38 light years. Once I fly into that object a few light seconds in front of me, I will be able as configured to reach just shy of 290 light years. Unladen I can reach WELL past that, but, I am carrying a planetary vehicle hangar and a rover called an SRV <which yes, I can drive, its about the size of a Hummer H1 Alpha <a true hummer, maybe a bit bigger> This ship is a medium sized ship for what its worth. Now, what is that blue nightmare fuel ahead of me? A neutron star. And yes, as soon as I post this, I am getting my next jump coordinates for the next one of these beasts <my journey will be roughly 84 jumps>. This is the Neutron Star just prior to the one I am currently sitting at. But, functionally they ALL look like this. Blue High Speed Spinning death. At the one I am currently located Nova Aquila 3, I have 21,349.91 light years remaining. Every single time I use one of these stars to boost me from around 71.89 <yes its going down as I do this, these boosts physically damage my ship. Yes, i can repair enroute, and will need to do just that about halfway there or things will get ugly> to just shy of 290 light years I take damage to my subsystems. My FSD <frame shift drive> <<think hyperdrive in star wars, its what allows me to leap from normal space to what we call Witch Space to jump between stars>>, my shields, my fuel scoop, and every other subsystem. I only need 4 systems to remain at full potential the whole way. Fuel Scoop, FSD, Life support and my AFMU or Auto Field Maintenance Units. Both of which are shut down at the moment, so they take no damage. Ok. Back to the jumps. Oh one last thing. You screw up flying into the ejection cone and hit the exclusion zone around the star itself? It will kick you out of whats called super cruise <think warp drive from star trek> and you will be hard pressed to get away from the star before it kills you. Ive been taking a break from Elite Dangerous because the grind for a certain engineer to get to unlock status was sucking the fun out. But last night I tripped over a video that grabbed my attention. There is an “expedited” path of sorts. Only 1 problem. I must travel across 22,000 light years to get to where this “expedited” path is. My ship as i currently have it is capable of nearly 72 light years in a single jump. Boosted by a white dwarf i can hit nearly 110 +-, and boosted by a neutron star i can hit around 300. Im looking at north of 300 jumps to reach Colonia (Shirarta Dezhra >>> Colonia) or a bit less by way of the Neutron Highway but that damages my ship every single boosted jump. Im thinking of heading out to Colonia to do the engineer thing. Wont be until tonight as sleep calls to me atm lol. Wish me luck not going mad along the way lol. 112902232025

I did something that, frankly, I am NOT sure was worth the effort and multiple kraken attacks. I captured and relocated to a Kerbin orbit Comet Gilvey-Dalorf 1. This was a royal PAIN. Mission from launch to capture was about 5-7 years. I didnt look at the MET when I was done, at one point once in Kerbins SOI I was at about 4 years and change, and it took several orbits at an obscenely slow pace to get into a good position to lower it. Launch Enroute We have capture Arrival in Kerbin SOI Its tail as seen from KSC This mission was so cursed it caused me to hit the wrong button while trying to add the images. its been broken all day <at least since 0630 saturday>. Honestly, given that our forum is likely ending its availability in 33 days <6 months from when it was announced the forum license was renewed for 6 months, and that was now 5 months ago in 5 days> and has been experiencing bad gateways, 2 periods of total systems failure, and a marked lack of ANY communication either from what ever entity holds our license now or the current IP holders for KSP and KSP2, the fact that this glitch is happening is not at all unexpected or surprising. To me <my OWN opinion and position given current known verifiable facts> this is just a symptom of KSP being put out to pasture. It feels as if, welp we are letting the forum go, why bother fixing it, maintaining or saying anything to contradict this. Again, my opinion only, and the one I will hold until proven incorrect. As I said elsewhere, I would rather be wrong and see the forum survive than be thinking it will survive only to be proven wrong. The "work around" of changing themes is a bandage, no more, no less. Its the one im using. Its not my preferred which is the default and as of 1936 was broken for 13 hours. Being on mobile atm im not risking the move back to my preferred setting. Not until its confirmed fixed. But as stated previously given my belief our forum expires 03-28-2025 i am not expecting it fixed as i fully expect (until the powers that be who hold our license) explicitly told my expectation is wrong. Logic: if its going to shut down anyway, why fix it? Again, this is my personal expectation. I was hoping that the last few days where these irritating spam calls were slowing down was a sign the wave was starting to pass by. Then today, i get 13 of the bloody things in less than 2 hours!! It started at 0843 and as i write its 1025. 13 calls so far!!!! This puts my spam calls received since 01-26-2025 to a staggering and mind melting 589!!!!!! The day is not over. I will get more. My bet? By around 1830 i will be north of 600 spam calls received. Aside from the only 2 at 0843 (same number twice) im getting about 7 per hour.
