In all honesty, I have plenty of things I would LOVE a second chance at. But, I would pass at the chance to revisit any of those moments. Power is back. Im not gonna hold my breath. I fully expect to be a popsicle by daybreak. 224202032022 its currently 12:18 as i start this edit and I am watching campaign 3 episode 12 of critical roll. I just wanted to say thank you to all who have read my saga today. It feels good to know that you fine and lovely group of folks have given me a place to vent my frustrations at my situation. Gonna need it! Sadly I have no hats or scarves. What I do have is a dachshund snoring away on my lap. I also (since i sleep in this chair) have my sheet, 2 cotton (i think cotton at least) blankets but they are not heavy. I also went into my mothers room (thankfully shes in an assisted living facility and i hope they have power) and found either her mother or her grandmothers afghan blanket (its like a crocheted wool ((thing weighs a ton and is like 5-6 sqft))) idk if its a blanket but for arguments sake its a blanket lol. Currently 25F feeling like 8F. Winds are NNW at 17 gusting to 27. Im a Texan. Give me heat and I will be fine. Make it cold, cut the power? I may as well be on Hoth with out a tauntaun to crawl into lol. 222702032022

At 8:11pm i watched while shivering whole bodily in my car trying to warm up as my entire block lit up, well the street lamps at least. 10 HOURS of no power. 10 hours of turning to ice. And hours 8, 9 & 10 (10 as the ending book mark) were by far the worst. Temperature fell below 30 to 28F with 6 degree F wind chill as winds picked up. So there I am in my car warming it up so I could bring my cat and dog to it to warm up and not die. I watch as even more houses black out getting worried. 10 minutes after the new blackouts all the lights suddenly scream to life. Im sitting there shivering whole bodily in disbelief. I am back in my house warming up and just want to not be that cold again! 203902032022

Today has been horrific. Transformer fuse blew at 1000am, power was restored around 530 this afternoon. 3-5 minutes later the neutral line blew up. Literally blew apart. A neighbors tree bridged the upper positive wire with the middle neutral and 19,500 volts blew it apart. So here I am a human popsicle. Good news is they spliced the neutral, rehung it on the pole, put a new fuse on the transformer. In my yard they are done. They are now (afaik) working a few blocks west of me to finalize restoration. So in theory sometime in roughly the next hour power will be back. fwiw hearing 19,500 volts arc is frightening. Im a popsicle… i wish i could make a fire in my fireplace, but too much junk in the way… 185702032022

I hope it isnt as bad. A tree in the yard of a neighbor behind me caused an arc to the power lines blowing a transformer in my neighbors yard. Hopefully its just a fuse on the transformer… only upside to this is that this time my mother is in an assisted living facility where she is with ppl able to deal with the issues this weather can/will cause like no power for example. Well once again the weather is getting ugly in Texas. My tree in my front yard is iced up and so is my roof (i hope). All im hearing right now is my tree rubbing my roof. Its haunting in a way, but scary as well. If it is ice on ice (which is how it honestly sounds) then its ok-ish. If not… well that would be an issue. The next few days will be interesting. Hoping this time isnt like a year ago… already 2 power failures about 20 min apart lasting about 30 seconds combined… cant say i am optimistic about this. Wish me and texas well! 073702032022

Ok, I think I can say with about 95% certainty that the AI is refusing to do work where that exact task has been done before. I am currently planting barley in 16 of my 18 fields and burning through seed like its going out of style. Anyway, I was using my JCB telehandler to bring seed <can boom out and up over my planters, and with 2000 liter seed bags, its a must lol> to my largest seeder and once I had it full of seed after the AI saying it was out, I backed my telehandler away hopped into my tractor with the seeder and backed it up to cover some spots it had missed when it rolled forward w/out seeds as it was stopping, I got the same field not found message when I tried to get the AI going again. SO, I lowered the seeder into working position, spun the tractor up into working position by diverting some of the engines power into the PTO going into my seeder and began to seed again. Once I was at the edge of where the AI had finished as it ran out of seeds I engaged the AI into action and off the tractor went seeding its mechanical heart out. So, I guess that the AI wont redo work on a spot in the same workday or month... Who knew? 020302022022

I do not think a revert will fix it because some of my equipment is from mod hub from with in the game itself, and its tuned to the current version of the game. BUT, I think I found my issue. If you watch the lets play's by Chainsaw100 on youtube for the Elmscreek map and you see the map flash by, try to pause it to get a look at it. I started out on the same plot of land as he did, and I own fields: 36 through 57, and in those fields 41, 44, 49 and 51 are converted into various yards. 41 fwiw is a massive dairy barn and related pits for slurry/manure and feed storage. 51 is my primary equipment yard with garages and a liquid fertilizer tank. 49 is a former silage storage yard <moved that to 41 with the cows. The rest is tillable fields. the tiny one by the primary silos near the house by fields 45/46 is sheep and chicken and of course silos for grain. I am proud of my farm. ANYWAY, I think I may have found my glitch. Given I am working 18 fields, some of which are HUGE, its no wonder I am losing track of what i am doing in these fields. I tried to run my cultivator for surface refinement and it said no field. Same with my roller. Turns out, I think I have done both those tasks <or in the case of field 37 which caused this thread, and was purchased yesterday realtime that the farmer for 37/36> have already been done. I grabbed by 81m wide liquid fertilizer sprayer truck and wouldnt you know it, the AI found themselves the field. SO, either I am a derp or the AI is smarter than I am in that ya know, its digital and not prone the glitches that a human brain has. SO, I think for now crisis averted. 195202012022

I am curious to know who here if anyone plays Farming Simulator 22 on PC via Steam. I am beyond frustrated by the game right now. I play on Elmscreek and my farm has expanded to the point where I absolutely need AI helpers running some of my machinery to make my farm viable. Problem is, as of yesterday I several of my fields trigger a bad issue. I hit the key to trigger the AI to take my machine and continue on but the AI screams at me saying: Helper A stopped unexpectedly, field not found. This is a problem. If my AI wont work, I cannot run my fields or my farm. I have done my share of google searching but, all the help I can find there is not helping. I have gotten out of my equipment and gotten back in. I have saved, quit and restarted. I have done everything short of nuking my save out, but, I have been running this farm since FS22 launched back in November, and its a multimillion dollar farm at this point. If you play this game on PC from steam have you seen this issue and have you been able to solve it? I cannot play this save or (assuming this goes across to ALL saves) any other if I cannot get the AI to run my machines while I tend to other must be done farm critical tasks. Anyone know anything on this? and yeah, i know, this is an odd place to ask it, but, i dont have an account with giants, and frankly i dont even know where on steam to go to try to find help. I know yall are a great bunch of folks and I am hoping someone here may be able to sort this out. 192002012022
