  1. Format the drive and install Windows 7. Best maintenance.
  2. Borisbee, do you need assistance with ore map development for some planetary bodies?
  3. It was rumored that those two's smooching was responsible for the disaster during Kron 4 flagship refueling while engineer Bill was unplugging the pipe. Both were killed in the process and later resurrected. It was never confirmed.
  4. I doubt that will be the case. The last kerfuffle about RTGs was with Cassini and it was mild. The society is way more connected now, and also seems to care less about some things. When the total life cycle is considered (and there's lots to consider; hence the energy economics study) nuclear fission wins by far because of its ginormous energy density and total output. Per unit of energy released, it causes the least damage to the environment. All power plants cause damage in some way. Even without that in mind, fission and solar electrical are not mutually replaceable, whatever the lying hippies say. They belong to totally different categories of energy production. Fission is sluggish and provides the base load, solar electrical is fast acting and can fill up peak loads... sometimes.
  5. Very frustrating layout. Typical for Google-run YouTube. Oh how I miss the days before Google bought it.
  6. So far, less than 4% of the players who voted play stock game. That's quite interesting.
  7. Inline chute is enough. After all, this is Kerbal Space Program, and not Kerbal Aviation Program.
  8. Zbog ovoga bi svi mogli dobiti kartone, ali nećemo.
  9. The guy that did this sucks at math.
  10. The normal distribution curve is slowly appearing, although I haven't anticipated so many realism overhaul users. Oh well, they'll join the fetus room, too.
  11. I get around the parachute problem simply by using Real Chute's inline 1.25 m parachute. Docking port on top of it, finished by a launch escape system. Works perfectly. But stock... it gets wonky. I like this capsule, though.
  12. Its mass was never a problem for me... I mean the thing can withstand over 40 m/s impacts so that's kind of expected. But the hatch and the ladder... geez.
  13. OPM is certainly not "similar boring colored balls" like most other things are. It's what stock KSP should be and it's a work in progress.
  14. One Saturn analogue and one ice giant analogue. If it's absolutely neccessary due to some constraints, stick a ring around Jool and add one ice giant.
  15. Yeah, no room for two of them unless you shove them inside like spices in a chicken before you roast it.
  16. Will this finally get corrected? Oh, and don't bother using these arguments. Mk1-2 is a command pod, not a lander. Even lander pods are lined up. This is just frustrating and caused many Kerbals to detach or get ejected into space. It's a pain when you're a newbie and can't use EVA properly and just feels wrong when you're not.
  17. I will find all people from one poll class and put them in the fetus room. Which class? That's a secret.
  18. Please read the instructions. - this does not apply to 64-bit players - this is for v.1.0.4 Kerbal Space Program only - exclude the volume of Squad folder Here's a poll, mainly for the people who use mods. It starts logarithmically and proceeds linearly. I tried to cover the mod user classes to have roughly the same density as my hypothetical distribution is. I doubt there are many people who have enormous amount of mods. The poll will end in ten days because I want the sample to be as less smeared over time as possible and still to have enough people voting.
  19. I like the new look. It will come in handy for supersonic screenshots.
  20. I watched astronaut Cristoforetti talking about this. No, mission control does not keep that level of babysitting. The crew does have a certain degree of liberty.
