In the left bar when you click on the debris there's a red button on the bottom that says terminate. Click that at its gone. I personaly think it looks cool to have debris flying around, makes you fell like to you have done stuff.

For Questions That Don't Merit Their Own Thread
Dfthu replied to Skyler4856's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Wow, this is the 4th post about Arnold's voice. I didn't know i could bring so much joy by my profile picture. -
Do you mean the new antenna feature? It has been delayed to 1.2. Antennas are still there, they even added one in 1.1
-
Oh nice! I always hated that, thank you for this mod!

Returning KSP player, how should I get started?
Dfthu replied to Rolanvorxariat's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Start small like practice Kerbin orbit a few times and then land on one of kerbin's moons. Maybe dock once. Then just gradually do harder and harder stuff. You should also find out what changed in the updates that passed so you know what's different. -
Kerbal Launch Alliance - CRAFT ARE COMING SOON!
Dfthu replied to Kerbiter's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
This looks cool but I have one question. So the Daleth IV is referencing the Delta IV, but is the New Kerman referencing? Blue Origin? -

The Hawker Siddeley Trident 3B link leads to the Boeing 737 page. Could you fix that? -
You're right, they added that in 1.1.

From wikipedia "Since 1946, NACA (NASA's predecessor) and, since 1958, NASA have conducted the X-Plane Program." It does seem some planes are for the air force or boeing but some are from NASA.
-
Wow, are you going to do flights like the X flights (X-15)? Also I counted like 321 missions (most likely more) from Wikipedia so be prepared for a ride. Will go up if you include the plane flights. One more thing, how will you handle the ISS and Souyz-Apollo mission? Will you make rockets for the Russia part of the ISS?

Radio and TV signals will degrade over time. The waves will start to spread out and become unreadable. Assuming they send out focused signals towards other planets. More powerful and they are more focused then radio signals, they could last hundred's of lighting years depending on the power of the signal. EDIT: wait, if Kerbal broadcast towers are like radio towers on earth it would be the same way, degrading over time. If you mean the KSC tracking station then it could send out messages.

Nope, I usually pack more fuel than I need. But one time on my new Mun return vehicle the staging was wrong so I had 1/5 of the fuel left. I had my kerbal go to my fuel station above the Mun.

Dfthu replied to Daeridanii's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Ok,, I went again. It was hell to land but I got it. 118,748 KG and 17:16 (1036 sec) = 114.62 Points (I hope you like pictures) -
But there's only 1 base (i think) and its under water who know if we see the exterior of the base,
-
@Soma isnt a user, hasn't posted at all. There is a Soma game, but that's a horror game underwater.
-
But it's something, it was still part of the ISS just different.
-
What new parts should they add?
Dfthu replied to Jeb-head-mug kerman's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
.625m and 2,5m SRB, more 3.75m parts and more science parts. -
I know it won't be usefull anymore but i'm pretty museums would want pieces of that debris. It was still part of a famous space station.
-
Here's my Eve rover.
-
We could try to re-enter it in a desert with recovery people nearby for recovery. Nice and safe and easy to recover.

Quad-Island Hopping (Back From the Dead!)
Dfthu replied to Daeridanii's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Ok, I did this using my trusty A-12. Weight is 17.392T and 16 Min and 21 Sec. (981) = 17.7 points. The 3rd island is steep and to land on, I had to go a-round a couple times.
