  1. How hard would it be to create your own textures? Are they PNG images? Also, does this work with Kerb paint... That would make things easy too. I'm creating some concept rocket parts and this mod is perfect. Well done .

  4. It gets to orbit and looks pretty good . I may try replicating some of your other stuff too. These replicas are pretty good but I can do better I did that one in about an hour (with testing included). Oh, if you want me to make a replica of a different one of your concepts, please say! It was fun making these. I basically downloaded procedural fairings and experimented with them until I got something that was presentable.
  5. Indeed. I was thinking it would make a neat shape for a Duna reentry vessel. Wings only to keep it upright and forwards rather than steering. I won't be doing more work into it though. On another note, I used a different one of your models to create a new 2 person LKO crew transfer ship. I call it, the mk2 egg: Do you know of a mod with a tweakable fuel tank size? Fairing mods are the only mods I've found that has an easy way to increase/decrease the diameter of a circle.

  7. I'll have a rough picture in a bit. The annoying thing is I'm not using kerb paint and so the ship is a weird color scheme. EDIT: It's pretty ugly, but it does the job. It also doesn't fly xD. At all. I suggest you do this shuttle instead. It has a MUCH better chance of flying .

  9. These are awesome! I might built off these concepts with kerb paint. The coloring and general design is beautiful. EDIT: Sauron, I'm going to try and make the Autahi as closely to your concept as I can. It should be made easier with the PS+ wings too. I may or may not use procedural fairings. I think I will though. Judging from post 31 where you first showed it, it seems like it's just an orbiter but if you scaled it up considerably, I'd say it could make a sweet Duna mission (The color scheme would be perfect too!).

I lowered the pitch for my bass drum line when I wrote it in DUNA. Spartwo I didn't know you're a fan of the Halo sound tracks . I have to say ODST is my favorite of the games. Something special about roaming the night streets of an abandoned city... I love the saxophone they use in a lot of the songs. Sounds like the music from Blade Runner as well. If you have no background music for 2 hours and want some nice tunes, I suggest you listen through the . Great work Upsilon. It pays Dres tribute well.

  12. You know, Kerbals are technically all terrain other than mountains. You could relatively easily get away with this in a matter of a few weeks with of straight play crossing the equator if you used a brick to hold down shift, and the forwards arrow while on time warp 4. He'd get up if he fell... Lets do the math! Wooks calculations showed that crossing by his rover (average of probably 15-20 m/s) would take 50+ hours of game play. Now a kerbal moves quite bit slower than that. 2.3 m/s from my recent test and I'm guessing* around 1.5 in water. Kerbin equatorial CIRCUMFERENCE: 3,769,911 m Kerbal sprint/swim guestimate: 1.9 m/s --> 114 m/m --> 6.84 km/h 3769.911 / 6.84 = 551.16 hours 551.16 hours / 4 (timewarp) = 137.79 hours of straight time warp 4 non-crash gameplay to circumnavigate Kerbin by foot?!? Only 6 ish days of straight gameplay away! *The hell kraken attacked for the first time in about a month when I jumped out of the capsule for this one.
  13. Indeed. I wonder if the parts will lose their lifting body aspect as a work around. I haven't used SP+ before but that sounds like an awesome "cheat" on porkjets side. I wonder what it will mean to the aerodynamics model too.
  14. Where you using Alt+F12 part clipping? I just tested it and it worked easily without it.
  15. That' what I think too. Scrapping the line altogether would be a bit radical, but I wish there was a higher res image of Hugos design. It almost looks like the edges have been rounded out. It's possible they smoothed out the mk3 line but I still have no idea . Just guess work. I'd like an answer from a dev if at all possible . Maybe its a secret...
  16. Those spaceplanes parts are absolutely gorgeous and I'm glad to see them in game. Time for me to expand my stock only horizon a bit . Right now my real question is what about the mk3 parts!!! Is there ANY solid information a mod or dev or someone on the inside could give? I've heard the line is being "scrapped" but no more than that. What do you mean by "the line"? The standard mk3 part size, or just the parts? I love the new cockpit Hugo made and I wouldn't mind it replacing the current cockpit (though I still want a smooth topped cockpit. Hugos one isn't as streamlined as the current mk3. But you can actually see out of his), but what is the deal with the mk3 line? Is the mk3 size going out of game, or just the old pieces? or what?     Seeing how SQUAD voted for the banana (literally SQUAD and not the mods or devs), I think its a joke. No matter how awesome that would be if stock. Besides, bananas are from Earth. Not kerbin. Maybe a "Kanana"?

    On the topic of parts being added, I just rooted through your reddit link as well and here's something sweet that Rowsdower posted: [in response to Hugos cockpit] "This pic was actually cropped and enlarged from a bigger one full of the parts he made. Rover parts, rocket parts, plane parts, resource mods, aesthetic mods*, time warp mods, music mods, science mods (please be the banana!), IVA mods* and the list goes on! You've given me a reason to comb announcements once again... * I'm guessing one of these
  22. My first mun rescue mission (and second ever mission after buying )... I ended up using the buggy as a ramp back into orbit. I wrote a story of it here. Needless to say it worked as if it was planned xD. Enory and Gerbles where the crew of that mission and many other equally insane endeavors. They live in my sig forevermore.

  24. Sounds good. Yeah those songs are a bit shall I say, 'more serious' than KSP music probably should be. Blizzy is the plugin going to have an easy way to add your own music if wanted? It would be cool to be able to set your own 'theme' that plays when you safely land. DRES should definitely be plain. To eerie for anything rigid. I'll be listening from the gloom... *creepily fades into a dark corner*
