  1. Agreed there. Especially since I'm going to 64 bit tonight (getting new 1TB hard drive with 64 bit windows to replace the 250mg 32 bit currently)! I'm a bit skeptical on your "up to 10 times faster" comment as anyone who hasn't done deep research would but in the very least, KSP will be faster and that's good news by itself. EDIT: If you look at the announcement page posted, they talked about new wheel and suspension features. Does this mean there can be more wheels and with better impact resistance and suspension?!? I hope!
  2. Fuel reserves are always useful and extra habitation modules are never bad
  3. 3 months after I began this I've finally finished this project. To all of you who enjoyed the 2 previous segments and various other things I've done, thank you so much for sticking with me. Creating these videos is for YOU and no other reason. Again thanks. Part 1 Part 2 (the long awaited) Part 3 Check my twitch channel for more stuff. Later.
  4. This was quite enjoyable for me when I tried and just plain hilarious seeing all the comments and things the forum teams are putting together. In the midst of a challenge, the forum doesn't turn to primordial anger! They work together, even chatting lightly within teams. I solute you. And everyone else competing .
  5. Let the gathering begin Tada! All for now
  6. That. Is amazing. One thing that slightly bugs me but you can leave is that the 3 legged descent stage ran our of fuel 30 meters up, bounced one, bounced twice, and then ended with the tipped buggy ramp launch improv so the scorch marks aren't technically needed under the poodles but still outstanding. There would still be marks from 30 meters up so it doesn't really matter. Oh and thanks for moving the lights to the side! I don't know what drove me to place them above the RCS tanks when I built this xD. This was quite a fun landing and now, quite a beautiful piece of art. Unrelated to the picture, why did I use so many chutes!!! This was probably my first launch with that capsule and I was still testing its capabilities on this mission . See you around.
  7. I think that biomes should be shown from orbit and you can check when they've been researched fully that way you know when you're done with a region without having to see the R&D center or the actual reports. It'd just be cool .
  8. WhackJob at that I have this image of a dog ripping a shoe to shreds in pure delight. Though it's a kraken... and a rocket? My sig's been in need of a quote . That's not bad either! Though not so original my philosopher.
  9. That's um... wow. That's pretty close to how I was...
  10. You know, not all the bodies can be graded on a simple scale of easiest to hardest, like Duna versus Eeloo. I can easily land on Eeloo but I'm shy from leaving Duna. Not sure which to mark. I suggest a "select all places you've landed on" instead.
  11. Build a Yacht. Remember you can still move ships between saves.
  12. This. Is awesome. Very well done sir. If you come up with any spacey original stuff, I am in need of soundtracks for my KSP movie (see my description ). I'm a musician myself and I can say that takes skill.
  13. I have the kerb paint mod bookmarked, but not in use. If you want I could repaint and post a picture . And thanks all!
  14. Sweet thanks a ton! Sounds like you liked the first pic best . Just in case you didn't figure it out yet, the upside down rover was used as a ramp so don't miss that!
  15. Yes this is an old post, but it's been important enough to me to bookmark. I pretty much approve of everything you listed.
  16. I had this same problem and reloading a quicksave did help it. The starting piece seems to freeze and everything else accelerates in a strange direction. Oh and WhackJob the save isn't broken if your worried I resurrected it somehow!
