  1. That's because he's not managing the mod anymore, @Papa_Joe is keeping it up and running in his abscence here: I am at least, though college has kept me pretty busy and I've been admittedly spending a lot of time programming and playing some games separate from KSP. Might have to make some new ships (and possibly update some older ones) soon though, as there's a ton of new sci-fi media with awesome ship designs to get inspired by out now. As for KS, I've not spoken to @HatBat in a while, and I'm completely understanding of the fact that not only is the series a major personal time investment with a very small amount of "reward" for each amount of work put in, but that he also may have become involved in other activities that he invests his time in.
  2. Those airbrakes are wonderful for custom fighter cockpits, aren't they?
  3. Heads up- as I'm within a city that's under mandatory evacuation order due to Hurricane Matthew, I'll be unable to complete AHWP Olympus Mons until some point down the line when it's safe to return after the storm has passed (and likely for a while after then, if the storm's a direct hit on my city and knocks out the grid).
  4. Still a major WIP, but the AHWP Olympus Mons is coming along nicely... Fuel systems need to be completed, but I ran a short-duration test flight to check the fire-control systems on its dual PAC-3 interceptor launchers (target was a high-speed, supermaneuverable drone) . The test was a resounding success, and once the armored hull and fuel systems are completed I'll start polishing off the weapon loadout with some smaller turrets and such. (I'm tempted to sneak in infantry drop-pods inside the hull, but I still need to budget room for backup fuel storage and structural reinforcement girders/struts.) EDIT: And yes, this is totally stock save for BDA.
  5. I might be interested in making an AHWP, just need a day or so to set aside some time and work on it.
  6. Could I take the empty slot on the 27th-28th? I've got some stuff I could launch of similar utility and quality to the stuff I sent up the first time around.
  7. Everyone, please just hold your horses. HatBat's waiting on the full release of 1.2 to try and complete the next episode, and once that drops the thread will be renewed and updated. Until such a time, it would be both polite and prudent to hold back on submissions until the new thread drops. (I'm not saying to not post anything, just don't spam the thread with submissions.)
  8. The fairing-ed sections are hollow, "inflatable" sections (as there are no stock inflatable module parts). One is a Zero-G sports arena, the other a recreation module+habitat+airlock.
  9. I've got some things on the backburner (college takes lots of time indeed), but for now I'm patiently waiting on 1.2 and for that bug holding up Episode 25 to be resolved. Matter of fact, I actually encountered the bug in question myself the other day. I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with how much memory the shaders are using, but I'm not 100% sure.
  10. I'm likely going to go with a monolithic (single-hulled ship, not modular) vessel for my attempt (if there's an open slot in the future), with 1-3 payloads to be landed (passenger dropship, habitat/mini-outpost, rover).
  11. As I mentioned in my PM, @DMSP, I'd be willing to take another turn in the future as long as there's an open slot and stuff to do. Actually, come October (since it looks like September's all filled up with launches at this point), I might be willing to spearhead a mission to Duna, since given that amount of prep time I'll definitely be able to work out the kinks in my transfer vehicle and landing craft.
  12. Unity Station as of now: Gateway Station as of now: I've completed my turn, and will be sending @DMSP the save folder ASAP. Also, the parallel-parking level of docking to get my inflatable module mounted on Gateway was a bit nerve-wracking, but at the same time, it was actually faster and smoother than my approach to Unity with the Icarus CTV shuttle was.
  13. It's alright, @Chiron0224 already sent me the save file. I'll have my stuff launching up once I get out of my college classes today.
  14. That's fine, I'll make do with what I get, when I get it. Tomorrow/Saturday I should have time once my morning college classes are done with and I have a chance to wrap up my homework for the Python class I'm taking at my college. Also, for the purposes of time zone synch, it's currently 7:56 PM EST for me.
  15. Mycroft, I'd advise you to just wait for Episode 25 and the new thread. Things will be much more well-spelled-out, and it'll be a much more streamlined submission process. In the meantime, you just need to be patient and wait.
  16. Think I might have another fighter jet pack on my hands soon... All are fairly simple in terms of overall design complexity, but still feature good agility, decent speed (without engine clipping, as some in the past have disliked it when I've done that), and custom cockpits for style and ejector seat capability.
  17. Nah, I'm in Charleston, SC. However, Florida looks like it's going to get hit hard by this, so stay safe man. I'm just hoping downtown here doesn't flood (lots of the city of Charleston on the peninsula of land most of downtown's built on, especially more historic areas, is below sea level). Thankfully I'm in a 6-story college dorm, but nonetheless, it may be rough if things are worse than expected.
  18. I'm smack dab in the path of Hermine for tomorrow evening- wish me luck, fellas.
  19. Well at this point, something quite similar to RemoteTech's going to be integrated into stock seemingly by 1.2, so we'll be able to (and may somewhat be required to) make networks in a similar if not outright identical manner within the stock game.
  20. Holy moly, that's a nicely built transfer vessel. I'm sorry if I ninja'd ya on the winged CTV; feel free to send one up if you want. I might start working on a dropship for any missions to the Mun/Duna following the station's completion, since I've got lots of experience with 'em and a nice rocket-VTOL dropship would come in really handy for dropping off crew and vehicles.
  21. Alright, either target for a mission works. I've got some Duna-rated landing craft I've been working on, but I also have a rover that I've been utilizing for my in-progress Duna Elcano run I could try to prep for a mission.
  22. I can see about trying to make something lighter, but in this era of KSP smaller (spaceplane) SSTOs are a bit harder to pull off well in the past (either due to heating, speed, or aerodynamics issues, or a mixture of the 3). I'll see what I can do though, and perhaps if we need a heavier crew hauler for loading up any missions beyond the Kerbin system I can bring it out and send up crew in comfort that way.
