  1. Well, technically, it was only one loop, but credit where it's due, it was still rather impressive.
  2. Yes, exploring the unknown is fun. For me, obviously for you as well, exploring a randomized system would be possible, because (I have, at least) we've played for a long time. But all of the new people coming into the game would have no one to help them if they got a previously unplayed seed. You also have the dangers of randomizing. Programmers like me know that generally, random numbers work, but on rare occasions they can be a bad choice. What happens if the orbits of the planets are all at their maximum range, or very close together, or far apart? Or there is too much atmosphere or gravity? And I don't make "the same stuff" in career. My rockets and spaceplanes are always getting faster, better looking, more efficient. To me, the point of the game is to make new things and try them out in a known circumstance, rather than to take the old thing into a new place and see if it breaks or not. And a combination of the two breaks a fundamental rule of experimentation: Don't change more than one variable.
  3. I'm not entirely sure that this would be "fun". A lot of people, including me, have spent a lot of time perfecting techniques for stuff like SSTO's that will not work as well if planets were randomized. There's a reason that there's a wiki. Challenging, yes, but not fun. All of the "Part Costs" boosts the OP states would be a great idea: Re-usability becomes massively profitable.
  4. Exactly. You can do it in the top left corner, but I would find the keyboard to be easier.
  5. Have you ever shot by your periapsis/apoapsis because you switched SOI's at 100,000x time warp, lagged because of it, and then and couldn't jump back fast enough? Yeah. This should be a thing. Perhaps the / key?
  6. The big black wheels DO have more traction than the beige Moon Rover ones. So traction values are possible.
  7. 0.19, I think... I remember 0.20 for sure. Or 0.18.3, if you count the demo version. Landed on the Mun there, made it back, after 20+ flights. Learned a lot in the demo, namely rendezvous and the navball. (The main reason I got the full version was that I was obsessed with docking. )
  8. It would be cool, yes. But three things: 1) I feel as if it is too cheat-y. Say you're landing in a tight spot. You pause the game's physics so you can look around and find the best spot to land, then land there. 2) You can just void the above by NOT USING IT. So many people say that things like this shouldn't be added because they're not realistic. If you believe they're not realistic, so what? Are you going to use them? Is the mere presence of the "pause key", or whatever other feature, going to ruin your playing experience? 3) I would probably use it to get GREAT screenshots. To be able to get the best angle at any time... TL;DR: I support it.
  9. Username seems familiar... 4/10. Damn ninjas. 10/10
  10. I like them, but people, as always, love to abuse things... If the file could be bigger, I would have one too...
  11. Besides what has been posted above, I notice that the Center of Lift is below your Center of Mass. That's not helping. Try moving it to or above the level of your Center of Mass.
  12. Is anyone actually filming, or just writing scripts? If so, do you guys need crafts? I could make some vehicles, just give me a description or a picture.
  13. Not for those ones, specifically, but it used to be the Spaceport. That's good and gone, now.
  14. Ah, the sound of 10,000 alarm clocks... XD Otherwise, it's great!
  15. "Starwhip has assisted many engineers in trouble"
  16. Heh, yeah, the game is evil sometimes... Also, how are you getting to Earth?
  17. I also would like a little designation on the HUD as to which one is which: When you've got five guys on a base, it gets hard to tell who does what, because they all wear the same (well except for the Big 3) uniform.
  18. Kill the rear NERVA engines and see what happens: I have a sneaking suspicion that your Center of Thrust is out of alignment...
  19. Cool rover, but can it get back to Kerbin? Welcome!

    Riddles

Is it the soul, or death? The first lines could be showing heaven and hell.
  21. 9/10 Those photoshop skills, though!
