Yeah, do you just keep accelerating or can you jump retrograde? Also, I wish your orbit was darker: I can hardly see it.

OH, I almost forgot! Friday's SquadCast revealed that they found EVERY VERSION OF KSP on their hard drives in the office! (EDIT: I think that ->) They said they would be releasing them too.

Yeah, that's a great image. When I saw it for the first time I thought it was an actual KSP comic, then I realized better. We can all adapt, though, right? I don't really care about my old crafts: in fact, I constantly delete games and start new ones, even in Career Mode. (Less now that I'm doing better with SSTO's and such, it provides a challenge to the game which I found was previously lacking)

Simply take the physics away. That's all you need to do*. The lag is caused mostly by each part being simulated simultaneously: if they are not being simulated, all that is happening is simple part rendering, which is not at all laggy on most systems. *I think... this is how I would envision the problem, correct me by all means if I am incorrect.

This argument is the kind of thing in "Real Life" that would be great to watch: I'd envision it as two middle-aged guys with white labcoats writing all over chalkboards with physics and screaming theories at each other. But trying to desperately save this thread: I think it's plausible, anyway, but we haven't gotten any significant evidence yet of the Multiverse actually existing, besides mathematical "proof".

Because you can do half a frame per second! I'm not so sure, but it's good enough (probably 13-30) until I get upwards of 550-600 parts, such as when I'm doing Naval Battle Club stuff, capital ship vs. capital ship. De lag, she iz real! And my computer's a 3-year-old ASUS laptop, with a Pentium, as I'm sure many people have heard before. I've got like one gigabyte of RAM... Me need new 'puter.

Yeah, I "knew" (eh, back when the original Elevator Thread was still open, we had conversations... it was frowned upon by the Great Moderator Vanamonde) a bunch of users from when I joined. They never got more than 50 posts. Now they're gone. But new people are coming in all the time. I don't think it's dying, we're just in a bit of a lull while everyone plays 0.25 and Real Life Simulator 2014.
