  1. You've just got to have the right idea for a thread. Any links to the ones you've started? Some of my own never got off the ground, but some... they're doing quite fine. This one (Forum Veterans: What was your first post?) is an example. A good idea, in the right place, with a bit of luck so that it didn't get swamped by new threads being made/old threads being posted in. EDIT: There is also the fact that the more you post and the longer you've been here, the more authority you carry. (Or at least, the more people will be likely to click on your threads because they recognize your username ) EDIT2: Probably my most successful one, in terms of views and replies, was my tutorial thread. Over 7,000 views and 30 replies. Link in signature, if you're interested.
  2. Could... could they have us start with a revamped version of the old KSC? That would be great! A single tracking station disk, a smaller VAB and SPH, make them look like the old buildings... I would love it. Maybe even an option for a launch tower? If it was made destructible, I'd have my revenge.
  3. I haven't touched the little bugger, let alone fly or improve it... DSTO is not my style.
  4. Is your Center of Thrust inline with your Center of Mass? You might be putting like one RCS tank on and upsetting the balance.
  5. 1: Yes. (Only for setup, not when in battle) 2: Yes, just make sure there are no mod parts on the ship for sure. We don't want to break someone's KSP, now, do we? 3: I will be patient with you, if you want a fight. - - - Updated - - - Zekes... that thing is so broken! (Not dead, just OP.) No... just no.

    Riddles

It's kind of vague... a penny? But pennies ring, and they don't chirp, that's for sure. Maybe just money? Or a wallet?
  7. Actually, I don't... It was probably a horrid failure, though. I do remember how I got to the Mun in the demo version, though. I had forgotten, and when I played again (After mastering the game) I crashed and burned the ship. It was designed to go straight up, then turn (At apoapsis) and get into orbit. I hadn't learned to gravity turn yet!
  8. Ten... thousand? *whimpers* But I just hit 1,000... Yeah, sal_vager, your creepy Halloween avatar will haunt my dreams forever. (What was that thing, a photoshopped Voldemort? )
  9. I'd give it 10/10 if it spun, but it doesn't, so 8/10.
  10. I think I saw you here before. 3/10. EDIT: What are you looking at me for, zekes?
  11. No. It's-a me, (not) Mario! Mrrpamplemousse.
  12. (This applies to all forum members, not just those who have been here a long time ) Prepare for a journey, to way back when you first joined... What was your first post, when you came to the forum? Mine was: [The thread was called: "Stah is here!"] (Just do an advanced search of the forum, by username, select "All open forums" and put the "sort results by" to last posting date in ascending order.) EDIT: The whole point of this thread is to show the new people that come into the Forum how most of us asked the same kinds of questions, had the same kinds of skills, as they do. That's why I stuck it in the "Welcome Aboard!" subforum. Thanks for the replies, everyone.
  13. With a joystick, eh? I can't help you there, I know nothing of joysticks and KSP. But for the scenario, perhaps some landed ships to drive around? (or at! ) EDIT: If you don't need to do anything special to setup for joystick (Like settings that you would need enabled during construction) I could set up and post a persist/quicksave with a rover to play with early tomorrow.
  14. Indeed. The user below me plays Hexxit.
  15. One of my friends showed me the game, let me play on his laptop. I built a little plane, "flew" it (more like crashed and burned within moments) and then got the demo version. About a month or so later (After I finally managed a Mun mission) I got the game. It was like Version 0.20 or 0.19 I think.
  16. It looked like an umbrella when it was closed. Yeah, I remember that one too.
  17. Woah, now, does that say what I think it says? May want a different one. (Personally, I'd find it amusing... 5/10. [Please don't hurt me, moderators!])
  18. That would be legal, as it is a weapon, and you are firing it But they do need revamps in other sections, ESPECIALLY the "Root Part" area. Honestly I think it should be that the ship, as long as it has some kind of control, should just override that rule. (The other ones about power, weapons and engines would still apply)
  19. SO much yes. This game is quick to play, free to play, and scary as all hell if you get jump-scared at the wrong time. That building that looks like a bathroom... never, never, ever again. I got a scare so bad (Turned a corner and Slenderman was RIGHT FREAKING THERE, it played the noise and everything ) in that place that it put me off the game for like three months.
