This is a good idea. I would like to see all the points in the OP. According to NASA's research on their new Grasshopper, they can save about 70% cost by landing their boosters again. In KSP I think it would be great if you got a refund for landing something.

My computer's too new to run spore. Or at least the version I had before, although it was super buggy. All stars and planets were called BAD_DATA, so a mission was "Go to planet BAD_DATA, orbiting the star BAD_DATA, which is within 20 parsecs of the red star BAD_DATA." Can you redownload Spore and just login with your account? Or do you need to buy it again to get it back onto your computer?

Wow! Not bad, actually! Just add some shading and it'll be perfect.

No shading tutorials. I just select a direction where the imaginary light comes from, and draw shadows on the side opposite that.
