Devastating Report On Record Greenhouse Gas Levels
Darnok replied to rtxoff's topic in Science & Spaceflight
We have that kind of weather on some parts of Earth? And it is not apocalypse? No I am not kidding. Why Mars isn't boiling yet? If CO2 is the cause. Extreme weather during short transition, but after that many years of stable weather. Venus is further from Sun and has higher temp than Mercury? Not much atmosphere, but 95% and 0.039% is devastating difference!!! There should be like 100C, while max is only 35C. And more CO2 is good for plants, they can evolve and produce more O2, what would be good for us? This is getting insulting... just because someone doesn't share your view means he is uneducated? Start talking about arguments instead keep repeating this. And don't call "global warming hypothesis" a "fact", because it isn't. There is no "kind of" either you can predict weather or not. If you can't that means your entire knowledge about weather and climate is wrong. If you talk about proper weather patterns just after you admited that there are none, because we can't predict weather, then maybe you Sir should listen your advice first? .gov reliable please!!! if .gov sites would be reliable you wouldn't had public debt in USA at trylions of $, same in EU countries I can understand that in single country can be lots of stupid politicias, but in all? As for proper research what is causing Sun spots every 11 years? I hope it is not CO2 again -

+1, that is my point, fight pollution that is real Celsius −143 °C −63 °C 35 °C <--- it should be much higher! -

Ok, because Venus got something that Mercury doesn't? Look at this one... Earth - 0.039% carbon dioxide Mars - 95.97% carbon dioxide where is that global warming effect on Mars? If it occurs on Earth because of CO2 then why not on Mars? Stargate525 is right that grid is plain stupid. This guy forgot to put same amout of money and regulations made by govs in all fields that "do something with global warming", if you think about this for while then in fields: 1. would be economic, political etc etc catastrophy! 2. ok 3. same as in 1! but with better weather 4 same as in 1 and 3! That should be simple if we spend bilions of $ in each field we fight with global warming then in each case we have economic and politial problems, because we won't have money for other needs! As for global warming itself guys little higher temperature means more water vapour, means more rains, means more crops, means less people is going to starve! How is this bad? Bad would be global cooling, because most of us would starve! In my country 500 years ago people cultivated grapes, now it is too cold for them. Maybe it is time to climate change and again it is going to be possible? But during that change we will have few more storms. -
Ascension anyone? Generation ship I have sad news for you If anyone is going to do evacuation you and your familly probably won't have a ticket.

Devastating Report On Record Greenhouse Gas Levels

Why? Don't mix two different things please, global warming and Earth polution are two different things! Yes, we have records, but we doesn't know the cause, we can measure results and only guess And I haven't even started to talk about the Sun and that it is not a light bulb, even 0.1% energy ejected from Sun can change a lot and cause global warming. We have have summer and winter on Earth and that is natural, but when Sun ejects more or less energy then it can change balance in entire solar system ? Goldilocks zone change, you know nothing last forever? Sun is spinning, moving on orbit around galaxy center, well if Earth orbit can cause summer and winter, what can be cause of Sun orbiting? Most of people heard about "Jupiter great storm", well you should read: That is because we started industrial revolution too? Something that huge on that HUGE planet can change it's size by 100% during last ~90 year, but Earths global warming has to be created by humans work That is great argument Sir to proove I am right ... there were times when most people thought that Earth is flat and they have defended their opinion in same way you just did... There are thousands of books and scrolls out there supporting flat Earth it can't be wrong!!! Most of scientists today is jumping into mainstream because they care about paycheck more than about truth... and global warming is best science bussiness ever!!! If science for you Sir means agree with majority then, think for while about that flat Earth or why we left caves. Pro hint: not because most of people back then thought that is is right way! -

I do understand what you said Sir, but I always trying to get bigger picture than other people Look at this one: Hubble telescope - 24 years Man on the Moon - 45 years proto-Neanderthals - 600,000–350,000 years oldest ice - 1.500.000-800.000 years (since then every 100.000 years we have ice age and climate change, before that there was no ice on poles) dinosaurs - 231.400.000-66.000.000 years (one of the hypothesis said something about super volcano) Earth age - 4.540.000.000 years Sun age - 4.600.000.000 years Putting this all together you see that even if we will talk about 1.5mln years cycle of releasing CO2 from ice, it is very small range. And that super volcano that killed T-rex could be more like many smaller volcanos that blew up nearly at same year? ... to finish this volcano hypothesis first lets think for while about Mars... and that 20+ km volcano, now Mars core is no longer heating planet, but very long time ago it was working like Earth's core. What if soon we will see ~20km high volcano on Earth? Or simply same geological cycle that killed dinosaurs is going to repeat after 66mln years, but this time it can be little weaker, because Earth core no longer generates same amount of heat and lava as it was 66mln years ago. But it is still possible that this natural process will melt all ice on poles, releasing lots of CO2 from that ice, and while oceans are heating they are releasing even more CO2. For me saying that we can compare our impact on Earth with powers that created 20+km volcano on Mars is just silly. -
Realism in KSP - Various Ideas with Pros/ Cons

Sir, my guess is some people are trying to use walls of text and math to proove their point, but at same time those details cover them big picture, and that is what is better for game? My answer is realism is better, as long as it doesn't make game boring and too hard. And most of suggestions what to change and how, I have seen here are very good and should learn people how to build rockets and plan missions in right way. -

Anyone noticed volcanic activity, earthquakes in last 10 years? Both are caused by additional lava pressure and tectonic plates movement... oceans are also on plate, but maybe they are getting warmed by underwater volcanos? And lots of CO2 is released from melting ices from poles... Sir how long do we monitor CO2 levels... 50 years? Are you sure that in the past CO2 concentration was rising slower? We can't say what was 6000 years ago, and earth is far older than that, we have no idea does all kind of geological cycles on Earth was discovered. We have no idea what kind of cycles may occur on Sun. Guessing that it is our fault and wasting tons of money on something that is not human dependent would be very stupid and costly -
Realism in KSP - Various Ideas with Pros/ Cons
Darnok replied to I_Killed_Jeb's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Wow if Devs implement all those ideas it would push KSP into 0.9 version for me. GPL v3 is not cancerous Sir! It only protects your work from thieves. Like you said author can always change license or add double license option, so I see zero problems with GPL. -

Rocket museum and flight/mission record...
Darnok replied to Darnok's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
But I can't see any rockets there Sir. Try put this and few other rockets like that I do understand that imagination is important, but still I would like to see any way to compare two or more rockets sizes etc etc and see flight and mission records using rotate and zoom camera as I want to -
While uploading images on imgur I found this for SpaceX fans. Ascender 50 50 tons to orbit 2nd stage Ascender 60 60 tons to orbit 2nd stage is same as in Ascender 50 Ascender 70 70 tons to orbit and again same 2nd stage

Rocket museum and flight/mission record...
Darnok replied to Darnok's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Yes, we can, but can you do this without lag from 1000+ parts? And museum could also provide UI for watching flights/missions records -
Building or area when we can "store" our rockets and after we have few in there we should be able to compare sizes, putting one next to other (without physics), and of course also compare other parameters like burn time, weight, parts count, payload weight etc etc. Flight records. We should be able to write flight record and post it on forums, so other people would just load it and watch like video, but in-game. It should have smaller size comparing to video files and should allow us to rotate camera during watching. If anyone have been playing in Battle foe Middle Earth (first game) maybe you remember there was option to record and share even multiplayer match and in Kerbal it would be great, since videos are cool, but we can't look all those super projectes from angle we want to.

Core of R-7 it can lift to 100km orbit 2.3 tons, while R-7 can lift 5.3 tons also to 100km

New rover drone parts: 12 weight: 0.45t docking ports: 1 standard, 4 tiny you can connect two or more of them in different configurations and here is a little challenge... stairs since I can't go any higher... those wheels are pretty strong:) yet another stairs sadly there is high step and I can't use it as ramp but... I made it, but rover slide down from this building below
