  1. After you do this, make sure you don't add parts, this resets the crew configuration.
  2. If it's highly elliptical, this will be even easier, just do it at the apoapsis. Plus, this will save you like 5 minutes of pushing....
  3. You can do what yargnnit said, Or, you can make a "cage" of trusses/beams (i don't remember which they're called), then rendezvous with the lost ship and get it in the cage and deorbit the whole thing. Or, you can use the pods reaction wheels, spin it, then using the centripetal force, "fling" it with a decoupler in either the retrograde or anti radial directions. Sorry about the run on sentence.
  4. Depending on whether or not the part count is high enough, the physics can fail to load, sometimes causing random explosions. Also, if it's In certain areas on other planets, most often the north and south poles, the textures/models are glitched, and parts will randomly explode, disassemble or "jump."
  5. The entire rocket can get back from the mun, yes. The rocket can't launch, get to the Mun, and return by itself, no. At least with anything less than the Manley level of skill....
  6. Possible, yes. More useful than just rover in any way whatsoever, no. This would be almost entirely useless. Unless of course you wanted to orbit Gilly with it...........
  7. If you meant cross-feeding fuel between docked craft, you right click on one tank, alt-right click on the other, and you can transfer LF&O between the tanks.
  8. Bop. That's where the krakens live! Just kidding, it's actually Moho.
  9. Possible reasons: 1. If it's at the north or South Pole, or several other places on the Mun, (these areas are glitched) will cause objects to"jump", or even explode. 2. Depending on the speed of your computer, the game will no longer be able to handle the physics, causing what's commonly known as the "Space Kraken". Hope this helped
  10. No offense, but this is completely WRONG. If yo do one larger burn closer to the beginning, it is far more efficient than several smaller burns. Also, always point at the maneuver node marker, unless you really, really know what your doing...in which case you wouldn't be asking this question, so just point the rocket at the maneuver node marker.
  11. In the astronaut complex, waiting for my massive duna ship to be fully assembled.
  12. That wouldn't work, however, as the science "debris" would not respond to the physics of the atmosphere, as it would be out of the "loaded" range.
  13. I'm trying to do it all stock. Also, thanks nao, I will try that.
  14. Is there any way to figure out if a lander will be able to land on and return from a planets surface? More specifically Duna? Also, this is unrelated, but what is "reputation" on the forums and how does it work? Thanks in advance
  15. If i have a career mode already made, and I add this to it, will it delete what iv'e done previously?
  16. To get a polar orbit (around Kerbin) set the mun as the target, but adjust the descending/ascending nodes to 90 degrees to the Mun's orbit.
  17. I have some large ships/stations in orbit, and I get some lag from them. However, the game only uses about 30% of my ram. Is it possible to "force" the game to use more ram to get more fps? Or is there any way to get more fps otherwise?
  18. One small step for Jeb, one long jetpack RCS flight back to the pod for kerbalkind.
  19. I get that message whenever I do an Eva report from a telescopic vertical mobility enhancer...a.k.a ladder
  20. I just landed on laythe then saw this.Funny. The best inclination is 0
