So assuming Jupiter is a star,where would its "Goldilocks" zone be? Will any one of the moons fit in that zone?

I know about it,could sit with the explorers and just sit around,soaking up the atmosphere. It really captures that "explorer" type of feeling. But alas I managed to break it and now the sun wont go nova even after 50 minutes

Dont like them even the slightest. Either use my feetmobile or a car and avoid trams or buses. I dont really like public transport but i find the metro quite awesome. But here is Sofia (Bulgaria) we have all sorts of transport options: Buses, trolleys, trams,a rudimentary metro,and a sort minivan transports that are most commonly seen in intercity distances.

Granted,but they have nasty beasties that are impossible to kill and the corruption/crimson spreads at ludicrous rates (oh and also it makes the game 2d, so gg). I wish for the next guy to corrupt this wish in a clever way.

this is a little off topic but what about any useful materials on titan? Methane is a decent NTR propellant,we could scoop it up from the higher atmosphere.(or does it sink to the bottom)?

I was wondering if life support is implemented if they will make radiation a factor. Like you would have a tweakable on every cockpit that is a slider on how much radiation shielding you want to implement.So that on long trips you would put more and on short trips you would put less to maximize Dv. And you could either put a shadow shield on a NERVA or just put some truss pieces so its farther away.

Made a munar lander without a ladder and went on an EVA with Jeb so i can check out some craters,Ran out of remass just as i landed near the craft so i had to make it do some aggressive hip hop before i could get him to latch on the door.All was well and the crew returned home,But Jeb's ego was slightly scarred that day.

Ok some useful advice now. Have you tried checking if the wires have disconnected to the backlight? (NOTE: Dont proceed to open your device if its under warranty,just let them do the fix.After all its under warranty!). Its almost never an option to deliberately stop the backlight (As far as i understand). And no i have never seen a car stereo with this type of problem,So it is probably a rare thing.

If you dont mind old Graphics, there are galactic civilization and master of Orion.As well as the civilization series for planet based,tru-history type of setting (civ 5 is modern mind you). There is also Sins of a solar empire but that is RTS in space so i do not know if its relevant. Also there is endless space that is an up to date,modern 4x. One less known 4X I would like to showcase is Stardrive: It is almost a homage to earlier space based 4X and is not half bad (for a beta atleast). It has a badly designed planetary invasion mechanic and a bit of stability issues and its made by one guy (minus the diplomacy screen art i think) Oops i just notice you want free. I cant think of any,You could allways try a demo or ask a friend that has one and try it.

The injection pipe will be connected to the external hull and not the centrifuge itself witch has side walls that do not close it off. The water will be fed in with slight pressure.(i hope it will stay on the surface long enough to catch inertia) Or maybe even angle it Size and weight will not be a problem (except if you build a really big one but that is unececary because you can spin it really fast)

After looking at spining habitation cans to provide gravity,it struck me!As the spinning can accelerates stuff,then why not use it for flinging reaction mass! And without further ado i present to you the: centrifugal reaction drivetm (suggest a better name if you come up with one) This drive works by (yes you guessed it) accelerating a liquid through means of centrifugal force. I have made some calculations (with spincalc of course) that the characteristics are for an initial prototype of: 4 meters radius of can 428 RPM of angular velocity. that achieves a Centripetal Acceleration of 8035 m/s (i am assuming that the CA will be the exhaust velocity). The exhaust velocity is around that of a solid core NTR! not bad eh As for thrust,the amount of reaction mass being injected into the engine will effect its trust.(it may or may not effect the ISP) And as some final words.I am sorry if my calculations are flawed in some way.Also sorry for the scruffy sketch i just scribbled it in real quick.

So i was thinking about plasma weapons and i scraped up a couple of notes: You will need a ludicrously large power supply for it to even generate sizable amounts. Overheating will be a very annoying issue,and no one likes to handle a malting plasma caster. I have absolutely no idea how do you make it into neat little globs like you see in Sci-Fi,I heard some talk about the plasma being held under its own magnetic field but i am too factually illiterate to know if thats true.What we can however is bypass this problem and make a rad flamethrower esque weapon that shoots a nasty storm in its general downrange direction,however the plasma will need to be at a very high temperature so it can travel the distance. A welding mask will be necessary just as protective goggles are needed for high intensity lasers.
