perhaps accidental trim settings? i think alt+X will zero the trim. other than that i think even rovers will drift one way or the other if you spawn it on runway from the SPH

i would suggest that any proposed structural couplings work only when the tops of both are at 12 o'clock (presuming you are facing it head on) then make the connection permanent and as strong as a vab conection. this would prevent any accidental upsidedown or sideways permanent mating. other than that make them just like docking ports

this is all find and dandy, and you have nice ideas, but do note that career mode is in no way complete at present, and the devs are actually working hard on it right now(or sleeping, or eating, or all 3 at once) for the next update.

if using the 1 seater command pod, i always place the science tools on top of the pod, it ends up looking sorta cool that way.

if i may have the stage for a moment. perhaps you could save your landers or whatever as subassemblies, and provided you have a surface sample from duna(for example) you could tag that lander as the historic duna lander and it could get some red dusty after effects on it (only visible while in the museum)

will it be removed in the final version so people can stop cliping things unrealisticly?

and how about without part cliping like that. asthetics fine, but that all those engines/fuel cannot occupy that volume of space. nice making it to eve and back, but as i see it, you didnt "really" make it to eve and back.

i too would like that so my nsa cupola module can stare down into the astronaught complex and determine who is being a good citizen and who is being a free thinker. but i think it has to do with things ceasing all rotation in timewarp. what happens when you are perfectly still, disable all rcs/sas and watch an orbit realtime?

what i meant before was yeah 1 more planet would be nice, but after a year, you will be bored with it and want another. squad cant just keep adding planets, the system will be overcrowded. as it is, most planets are anologues to our system, and i would like a saturn analogue. its moons could have the unique/memorable features some mentioned here(see above), but after that, where would another planet fit? assuming eeloo becomes a moon of gp2, sure you could replace eello with another new planet, but after that, the system is pretty full(as far as orbits go, obviously space is a cold lonely empty void where you can only hear yourself think and are left to dwell on how your parents made you join band when you wanted to join the football team, thus ruining all hope of ever going to prom with Stacy Evert *sob* *sob*)
