Hi. I installed latest FASA and realism overhaul, and i can't load the crafts that comes with FASA mod. It just load command module, instead the whole rocket. -
I installed this mod, hit numpad * in vab, and the building hadn't scalled. What i am doing wrong?

The OLDD don't work with RSS, but otherwise it's a damn good mod. -

Hello. Recently i was thinking about recreating apollo 11 mission with as much realism as possible, without delving into all the math needed . I installed all core mods of realism overhaul pack, but the stock game lacks the parts needed to make a sleek looking, yet functionable spacecraft like apollo missions were. I also installed raster prop monitor, with vessel view, kerbquake and all the other goodies like hot rockets, hull cam etc. But i can't decide which part mod packs i have to install to get the parts as similar to apollo missions as possible. I guess FASA would be good choice, but is there any other good mod with apollo like parts? Oh and also i would warmly welcome, some good reads about apollo missions, and approximate blueprints of the mission command module, lander and the saturn v itself.

Thank you for your deep explanation, so it's TAC LS problem. I hope they will somehow overcome this, and adapt their code for such things as greenhouses or recyclers. Donziboy, that was just a test vessel. In my Jool interplanetary ship i have 1 years worth of supplies, and a greenhouse to keep them fed and dandy for the next 10+ years, it's a science vessel with interstellar station there, that will be there for collecting antimatter. Because i didn't want to resupply them,[travel to jool is such a long process] i searched for a fully closed life cycle parts, such as greenhouses, or hydroponic farm.

Cerebrate, my apologies. I made a quick test, and time warped 200 days with 3 days worth of life support with celss greenhouse and two kerbals. The TAC LS gui showed that the food, water and oxygen depleted longtime ago, but when i switched back to the ship, kerbals were alive, and food, water and oxygen was at the same levels. So it's working as intended, but is there any way to stop TAC LS from making warning about low supply levels, that stop the game from time warping? If you could fix that, that would be so great.

Yes. But the coal/gas power plant have life cycle too. I know that renewable energy sources still have higher investment cost, and life cycle cost. But if we count effect of coal powerplant smoke on health, it will be clear that coal based energy sources are on par with renewable energy, even if its investment and life cycle[repair/mainteance], and energy cost per KWh is higher. -

Of course. Meaning clean energy i had in mind, energy that doesn't produce CO2, during the plant operation. I didn't count the energy and resources needed to build the plant in the first place. -

I'll wait for a fusion energy. Coupled with a wind/solar energy at a small community level, this will be a truly clean energy. Still, refineries and steelworks will emit quite a lot of CO2. -
Every probe program was not even close to the cost of apollo program which was estimated at a 90 billion todays dollars. There was no real desire to go to the moon in private sector. The only way to advance on that field, was to create an artificial competition, covered up as an arms race. Yes, space program was initiated purely as an arms race competition, having a purpose to destroy the adversary, rather than cooperate with him. As for the probe program,all scientific fields, are heavily based on cooperation of scientists from around the world, sharing their works and opinions. But it doesn't mean we do not need a healthy competition, especially in a field, that doesn't have an evident benefits in a foreseeable future. Scientists of course are guided by their pure curiosity, but the public opinion is another matter. They need an visible initiative to support such programs, like a mars manned mission.
