  1. While people will tell you to go in the big craters, they are filled with mini craters which make landing horrible. What makes good flat spots is the ground right next to a large craters edge from my experience.. also it means science biome hopping is easier... But the only perfectly flat ground on the mun is the armstrong memorial...
  2. oh... Hello, its this thread again, I haven't seen you in a looonggg time.... Well.... nothing has actually changed since page.... 5 ? People still say its a bad decision to go directly to 1.0 after only 1 "beta" release because that means development will stop (disproven), reviewers will hate the game (since nobody here has played 1.0 we have no clue) and its going to be buggy (unknown), and unoptimised (disproven due to the dds textures).... In the vast minority they say who cares ? its another update with another name and its only a name, it won't change anything... (unknown) Also Phawks, you do realise that insulting people to try and make your posts more "valid" will place you in the entire forum's eyes as "immature" and also make them in people's eyes less valid, the people you will see in the hype train threads are simply people doing it for a joke and they will be perfectly normal insightful people anywhere else in the forum... You should also try and keep your posts ~1 paragraph tops because otherwise people will say tl;dr... On the note of not releasing with unity5, you do realise that it was released less than a month ago and that 1.1 is almost beyond a doubt going to be a unity 5 and optimisation update.... (and btw: you must have great english essay skills to be bothered writing a 5 paragraph persuasive text for.. the internet, you should teach me some time.... you forgot the support for paragraph 3)

  5. hey, you should be glad that they sticky anything at all in the suggestions thread (not too long ago they didn't) You don't know how they choose what's stickied (they probably pm each-other for a-okay's) another thing... there's no arguing upon the subject itself meaning that overall its liked much more than most other subjects..... /kinda off-topic this would be useful... though how would you solve it if the two docking ports had different settings ? prioritise the controlled vessel ?
  6. yes, remove grind, redo science, make better contracts (blah), here's what I think career is really missing.... Making the difficulty scale over time.... Currently unlike most games, Ksp's career mode starts the hardest and ends the easiest as opposed to the traditional opposite. Most games have a scaling system where, the player starts small and gets bigger, better things (this does happen in career) but... Over time, the challenges the player is presented with get more difficult faster then the player gets his new trinkets that makes it easier... (this part is not in KSP) The contracts kind of do this (which is why they are probably less annoying than science) but not enough to motivate the player to push through a tough situation.. You can just x away contracts until an easy one pops up. The only current proposal I've seen to this has been rival agencies (who would step up their game to make the career harder as the player got new parts and such, the player would have to do more impressive feats with less than them..). Any other ideas ? Maybe since the failure is reputation based, we could have something where the agency needs to keep public interest in the space program to prevent itself from being shutdown by ..... somebody....

  8. great, really hoping for canadian space agency, JAXA and Roscosmos (and France of we get G. I assume that the summary is WIP or Squadcast is not over...
