  1. Not a surprise, considering how this thread was made before the 2013 April Purge...
  2. I'm waiting for it to update to 1.0. But considering the lack of updates, it'll likely only come out around August at best, and by November or December at worst.
  3. Derp. My news system didn't say anything about the vessel being manned or not. Sorry.
  4. I don't know why, but I find Skippers to be awful in vaccuum and Poodles to still be much better.
  5. Uh-oh. Would a set of eight Gigantor-XLs still be a reliable source of energy around Jool?... if not, my future base is doomed.
  6. I have a copy of 0.90, but I'm not sure if it would be legal to send you.
  7. Is this fatal just to the gauges, or overheating by itself spikes memory usage? If the latter, does this affect users who have disabled re-entry heating?
  8. Agreed. Deep Space Refueling is good, but I think SQUAD could aim for some new things in planets' surfaces. *cough* cave systems *cough*
  9. The "Stage" light is purple, which normally indicates the ship is either uncontrollable or time-warping. Since the latter isn't the case, are you sure the ship has a control source and sufficient energy?
  10. Apparently, Big Map works if you don't toggle orbits to show up. If you do, you're boned and permanently broke it, as it will cause all buttons to disappear and nothing show up on the map itself. You can't revert it because, as stated, there are no buttons to hide orbits, and there is no config file for you to manually shut off orbit mode. (Hopefully DMagic can easily make one for future reference) So, if you broke Big Map(as I foolishly did and learned the hard way), you can kiss MULTI and BTDT scans bye-bye as they don't show up on the still-functioning Small Map. Anything besides this nasty bug works A-OK, though.
  11. Pardon me if I missed the answer, but is there at least a hope of the astronauts surviving re-entry? Or the capsule decoupler and parachutes are also malfunctioning?
  12. It looks cool. But perhaps you should give more information about each body, and their positions, etc.
  13. Fengist, better get your Vall Circumnavigator badge ready. In my main save file, a transfer window to Jool approaches, and I've been meaning to colonize Vall, so... Tomorrow the rover design begins. (And I hope my Duna colonists enjoy watching reruns of TV shows...)
  14. What tool would you all recommend for editing Kerbal skinmaps? I'm planning to start a "special" career mode, and I need the Kerbals to have a lightly-saturated orange skintone(like this) for that. Ooo, looks interesting.
  15. Does this mod dock the FPS too much? Also, do you plan to add some objects to other planets later on? (I think of a LaytheSide mod that adds remnants of a long-extinct civilization )
  16. I completely forgot about this contest. And yeah, I'm curious to see who won.
  17. Mine probably is that I have yet to send Kerbals to anywhere besides the Mun, Minmus, and Duna. I'm planning an expedition to Gilly, however, so I'm going to at least add another body to my count. If you can't rescue Kerbals from Eve, at least give them nifty habitats to make their permanent vacation in the purple planet less painful. And if you aren't scared of looong trips(or the distance is short), send a rover to each stranded Kerbal and take them to a common base, so they can at least maintain contact with each other.
  18. Like others have said, there's no point to get hyped up for patches. Besides, we already have used up all of our Hype supplies for the 1.0 train, so we need to recharge first. I, for one, am beat. Ah, true. I guess I'm not as happy because I disabled thermal heating myself.
  19. I'm not even home, and having to see all these patches applied. Granted, they don't add much, but still...
  20. Honestly, the new heat system is so frightingly complex I've just said "screw it" and deactivated it. (Still amazed at how the game doesn't treat space as being cold, though) Dealing with radiation from RTGs and Nervs, on the other hand...
  21. Ouch. KSC is now in a tropical jungle. Oh, by the way, I was in Duna's equator when measuring the temperature there. If it helps, it was also just before sunrise(you can see the bluish atmosphere).
