  1. Granted, but you're so shocked from actually getting what you want that you get a heart attack and die. I wish for an easy system to keep save files up to date while playing both on my stationary and my laptop.

  4. Linkage between parts fail, the rocket simply becomes a pile of rocket-related junk
  5. So about the landing legs/fairing structure for the drill, can we get some sort of dampening on them? I've been thinking this since i first tried them, landing at 5 m/s or something makes my ship fall apart from the impact.

  11. no worries. I have all the added parts, meaning the tank, the converter, drill and landing legs. I landed, the drill was deployed, I waited a little and hit "Extract Karbonite". Note power drain and constant 0 karbonite. This was on a 300+ ppm deposit.
  12. Okay, so there are two possibilities: 1: I'm stupid (most likely) 2: It isn't working. Do I need SCANsat for this to work or what? I downloaded the karbonite zip, put in gamedata, whipped up a ship and went to Minmus. Now I'm landed on...well, somewhere, with a karbonite concentration of 300+ ppm. Deployed and started extraction, nothing happens. Also, hotspots? I can't see anything anytime, the "show karbonite hotspots" option doesn't seem to do anything.
  13. Haha Also, awesome mod. Now I don't have to lose faith in humanity every time I accept a contract.
  14. About the drill, can we have a bottom attach node for it with some sort of fairing around it? I was thinking a simple skeletal fairing would look awesome. Otherwise hauling a rig out on a rocket would be a major headache. Unless you flip it, that is.
  15. Why not. The whole thing with karbonite is that it's as open as possible.
  16. What happened to this thread and the whole open part mod? Two weeks might be too soon to say, but this seems dead. Anybody still working on stuff? I loved following all the previous iterations, would be a shame to see this fall away.
  17. Considering that you have to pull it out of the ground, Jool's atmosphere or Eve's oceans, I think it should be worth a little more than 0.8 or 0.18. But this really hinges on how abundant it will be on Kerbin... Any thoughts on that? Should resource maps be randomly generated for all bodies?
