What would be required to update this mod to 1.5? I don't have experience with that (yet) but I open to learn. Also, even though it kind of works with 1.5 there are some plums misaligned so I'd like to fix that.

[1.1.2] Kerbal Konstructs v0.9.7.1 - Slopey Glidey
Andy81le replied to AlphaAsh's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
In 1.1, I tried to open a new base. Flew more than 100 km's out, and the button to open a new base appeared. However, nothing is in fact happening when I click on it. Have KerbinSide installed, with the newest version of Kerbal Konstructs (downloaded separately)- 872 replies

[1.1]Hullcam VDS - mod adopted by linuxgamer
Andy81le replied to Albert VDS's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
In 1.1, backspace to exit a HullCam view does not appear to work. Removed Backspace from the default KSP config, still not able to exit Hullcam VDS view. In addition, after reaching about 6000 m height, with a downward camera, the view starts to repeatedly zoom in to KSC VAB. -

Correct installation of Parttools 1.1
Andy81le replied to spacetackle's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Thanks for the explanation! What is the difference between the PartToolsLegacy and the new plugins? Or more specifically, for what would I need the new parttools if I still have to install the legacy version? Sorry, bit lost here. -
Also having trouble installing via Ckan as it throws error after error, probably RealFuels related.

I am having trouble loading into KSP with the newest RealFuels version (checked that it is RealFuels by uninstalling the mod and KSP worked fine). I am also using the Stock configs for RF. Here's the error from the output_log.txt: NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at RealFuels.ModuleEngineConfigs.UnlockedConfig (.ConfigNode config, .Part p) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at RealFuels.ModuleEngineConfigs.SetConfiguration (System.String newConfiguration, Boolean resetTechLevels) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at RealFuels.ModuleEngineConfigs.OnStart (StartState state) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at Part.ModulesOnStart () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at Part+.MoveNext () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at FlightGlobals.get_Vessels () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ModuleDockingNode.FindNodeApproaches () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ModuleDockingNode.<SetupFSM>m__155 () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KerbalFSM.FixedUpdateFSM () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ModuleDockingNode.FixedUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1)

Thanks for the update, Toadicus! Here's an updated config for the Tantares antennas. @PART[Libra_Antenna_A]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 500000 simpleRange = 1610500000 maxPowerFactor = 4 maxDataFactor = 2 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Libra_Antenna_B]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 50000000 simpleRange = 161050000000 maxPowerFactor = 8 maxDataFactor = 4 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Vega_Antenna_A]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 13000000 simpleRange = 41873000000 maxPowerFactor = 8 maxDataFactor = 4 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Vega_Antenna_B]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 50000000 simpleRange = 161050000000 maxPowerFactor = 8 maxDataFactor = 4 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Vega_Antenna_C]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 250000 simpleRange = 805250000 maxPowerFactor = 3 maxDataFactor = 2 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Tantares_Antenna_A]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 50000000 simpleRange = 161050000000 maxPowerFactor = 8 maxDataFactor = 4 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Almach_Antenna_A]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 120000 simpleRange = 386520000 maxPowerFactor = 2 maxDataFactor = 1 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } }

I would like to edit a save since I forgot to bring a wrench so my docking party. Where in the persistent file can I add the parts that are supposed to be in the inventory of a capsule?

[1.1]Hullcam VDS - mod adopted by linuxgamer
Andy81le replied to Albert VDS's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Is it possible to prevent the EVA camera (1st Kerbal view) to snap back to its origin after releasing the mouse button? Right now, its sort of annoying since its snapping back immediately. -
Yep, something is not working right, the pathpatches config file seems to be ok though.

[1.*] ShowAllFuels: See all fuels required by engines
Andy81le replied to Coffeeman's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Could this be made compatible with RealFuels? Since right now the RealFuels' fuels are not showing fully. -
Excellent that Alexustas in working on new IVA's, he's a master of props. I didn't know that, obviously, as I didn't even know his youtube channel and he hasn't posted in the development thread afaik. It takes a very long time to develop IVA's, so I might just give him a hand through working on the pods. Hence, I will continue. It remains, that wishes are still welcome as to what props players would like to see/need in the basic pod.
-
Hey guys, I am currently in the process of redoing the IVA's of the stock capsules with the excellent props from alexustas and his ALCOR capsule (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/54925-1-0-2-ALCOR-Advanced-Landing-Capsule-for-Orbital-Rendezvous-by-ASET-%2805-05-2015%29) It a slow process using Unity 5, since currently the 0.23 parttools are quite limited (no search function; alignment not always working as intended). Suggestions, ideas and wishes are very welcome! A small teaser for the Mk1 pod:

You need to use cryogenic tanks for LqdOxygen and LqdHydrogen! Learn from my mistakes! ;-)
-
Having the same problem. How can I update it manually? Edit: I am having the most up-to-date version of ModuleRCSFX installed, but I still can't set tanks to pressurized and/or they won't indicate that they are pressurized.
-
Thanks for your reply. I did just that and it works fine (see code below). However, since I am using AntennaRange, this simple tweakscale config also changes the ranges value implemented by AntennaRange. How can I exclude those from being scaled as well (and only scale the visual size of the antennas)? Edit: Disregard my question, it didn't change the values of AntennaRange, everything is fine! @PART[commDish] { %MODULE[TweakScale] { type = stack defaultScale = surface } } @PART[mediumDishAntenna] { %MODULE[TweakScale] { type = stack defaultScale = surface } } @PART[longAntenna] { %MODULE[TweakScale] { type = stack defaultScale = surface } }

For anyone interested, here is a config for the Tantares antennas, up to a maximum range of Minmus orbit. Simple ranges are not implemented yet. Copy the code to a textfile, name it something like Tantares_AntennaRange.cfg and drop it into the AntennaRange folder in the GameData directory. @PART[Libra_Antenna_A]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 500000 maxPowerFactor = 4 maxDataFactor = 2 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Libra_Antenna_B]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 50000000 maxPowerFactor = 8 maxDataFactor = 4 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Vega_Antenna_A]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 13000000 maxPowerFactor = 8 maxDataFactor = 4 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Vega_Antenna_B]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 50000000 maxPowerFactor = 8 maxDataFactor = 4 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Vega_Antenna_C]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 250000 maxPowerFactor = 3 maxDataFactor = 2 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Tantares_Antenna_A]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 50000000 maxPowerFactor = 8 maxDataFactor = 4 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } } @PART[Almach_Antenna_A]:FOR[Tantares]:NEEDS[AntennaRange,!RemoteTech] { @MODULE[ModuleDataTransmitter] { @name = ModuleLimitedDataTransmitter nominalRange = 120000 maxPowerFactor = 2 maxDataFactor = 1 } MODULE { name = ModuleScienceContainer dataIsCollectable = true dataIsStorable = false storageRange = 2 } }

Is there a config for the stock antennas?
-
The boiling off of e.g. hydrogen, as described on the first page, is a working feature of RealFuels? I was wondering why I am leaking hydrogen in space ... Does anyone have suggestions for a mod containing cryogenic fuel tanks with 1.25 radii?
-
I am having the issue that my fuel tanks are leaking in space at a constant low rate. This mostly happens to the oxidizer compartment in specific fuel tank. Although I have DangIt installed, the parts have not failed, the engines are shutdown, RCS is off. I have the idea that this might be caused by RealFuels, but before I post this there I would like to have your opinions. Mods installed that might possibly cause the issue: - TAC Fuel Balancer - RealFuels + RealFuels Stockalike configs - NearFutureElectrical Decaying RTG's - HeatControl Edit: Probably a feature of RealFuels, with the focus that it indeed is called REALfuels and not fakefuels: Hydrogen boils off...
