  4. CKAN is this. Though i'm quite sure it's Windows problem, not KAS/SIS. In the first post you mentioned drive E:\. Is it a partition or a virtual drive? I'm on Win7 and have some issues with file accessibility on virtual drives. Try firing KSP up directly from the folder on a physical drive. And use an administrative profile.
  5. So, you've put KIS/KAS directly into gamedata or some custom subfolder? Try using CKAN and go for an automate installation. Also, which OS are you using? Is E:\ a physical drive?
  6. I tried the Klaw when it was released. Captured a couple asteroids, landed them at KSC rolled them around and stuff. And then I tried to use this thingie to assemble an LKO station. Well, after grabbing a solar panel array and trying to dock it to the station all my vessels in the scene started to fall from orbit - some into Kerbin and others into Sun. Somehow I managed to keep my save safe (he-he) and lithobroke the Kraken spawn hard. This episode left me traumatized and I never touched the Klaw ever since. Anyway, to not derail the thread any further: My latest attempt to get to the Mun in a 30-part vessel left me in a collision course at 1k altitude with no fuel going ~150m/s. So I bailed out Jeb, grabbed science and jetpack-braked. Came to the impact at around 50m/s head first and Jeb bounced. Yeah, I felt kinda BadS.

  8. Explosive behaviour is a thing when you land directly on other planet. Place the ship into orbit of a body before landing on it.
  9. So, these timers apply to a said kerbal in a said vessel and not to the vessel itself? That's nice.
  10. Cupola and ISRU are defined in stock contract system via unique part name. Only savefile and contracts config (for future contracts) editing can help. PM me and we'll fix that.
  11. They drink liquid fuel. Not the best activity, tbh, but keeps them going.
  12. Well, I saw this GIF at some funny pics site. Got interested, watched some vids and bought KSP around 0.21 or 0.20, I'm not quite sure. Been playing it ever since and see no reason to stop actually. P.S. The GIF still gets me every time, it's just too hilarious.
  13. RoverDude, stock Engineer's Report thingie gives a message about unused Supplies resource. Not that it is a critical issue, but still...
  14. This. Though I'll be super happy if in 1.1 landing gear gets at least all proper stuff like suspension, steering etc. Currently they are just awful sliding sticks.

  18. Wow, RoverDude, incoming changes are impressive! What'd be the difference between death and despawn? Will be some possibility to restore this 'habitation'? Or we'll have to change modules on stations and bases from time to time? That's really nice.
  19. For the very first time managed to build a Mk3 SSTO. Definitely needs some tweaking, but hey, it got to orbit.
  20. Other: I tend to run out of return fuel during excessive ground activities. Kebals get stranded and then life support can get them.
  21. Played around a bit more with the mod. LS timer on an empty ship out of supplies resets when going on EVA. While kerbal's timer goes on and he is actually starving. Is it a bug or a feature? Or I screwed something up?
