  1. Not meaning to be rude, but I fixed it a bit. I play KSP from like 0.20 or 0.21, and terrain always behaved like that. Certain well known and really common bugs (like gddm Klaw, I even don't look at this demonic thingie anymore) are sitting there like forever. That's kinda sad.
  2. 1.0 heatshield behaviour, flippin capsules n' stuff.
  3. Congrats. BTW, which terrain quality you play on? On all, but the highest, misplaced stuff like that is a common thing.
  4. But my toaster is really low-end, hopefully FryingToaster guys have decent toaster repair skill.
  5. 1. Part testing on launchpad obviously. 2. Getting 'Reach 2500m/s velocity' record. Since if you successfully orbit - this record just disappears mysteriously. And if orbiting in any reasonable fashion you won't get 2500m/s. But the record is kinda juicy - pays like 60k on medium, so it's not good to miss it. So - Stayputnik-BACC.SRB-decoupler-BACC. Add fins the way it pleases you and launch it straight up. We get a high ballistic trajectory, good buck and success for otherwise suicide mission. I didn't use Stayputnik for anything else in the recent career. P.S. OK, maybe I used it for testing parachutes and stuff at unreasonable speeds and altitudes. For lethal and strange tests Stayputnik is a way to go.
  6. Pretty much this. Though 1.1 will bring mostly fancy airliner parts, big turbofan or small jet do not even belong into space. When the question is 'Where's my habitation ring?' or 'Where's Alcubierre drive?' - 'Mod it!' is the answer. When the question is 'Why existing stock mechanic/feature X (like craft readouts, base parts, building tiers, command modules, etc.) has gaping Moholes in it?' - well 'Mod it!' is a part of the question.
  7. I'm not a fan of habitation rings, but we have like five more or less dedicated station/base parts. It's the most lacking part of the game. Any parts for that purpose would be welcome.
  8. Linux is all mysterious and full of dangers, I guess.
  9. I got it. I bet the same people assured me in pre 1.0 discussions flame wars, that the whole KSP thing is just a fraud to steal my ten bucks I paid two years ago. Yeah, such comments are plain ridiculous.
  10. Not being excited in any fashion about the news and expressing technical concerns should not be considered as 'hostility and hatred'.
  11. EA, obviously. Or PC version will become cut enough to run onto weak consoles. *backups one more copy of KSP, just in case*
  12. 1. Build a ground base on Minmus. 2. Land a rover there. 3. Accidentally shatter the base with your rover. 4. ???? 5. Butthurt! After that you'll have constant urge to repair\rebuild your base, supply it and stuff. It will keep you busy for some time.
  13. Upd. Rigged your parts into stock config, so they count for contract requirements.
  14. My bad, should have dipped into stock contracts config. Yep, it's a mess.
  15. Awesome mod! BTW, mod ISRU unit and cupola not counting toward stock contract requirement, while mod lab counts - is it a bug or a feature?
  16. Polished my supply package and providing a link.
  17. Your kerbals are starving? Engineer somehow dropped a screwdriver and it exploded? There's no way to deliver supplies to a starved vessel? Then this pack is for you! Just hang it on a ship and your kerbals will suffer no more. Features: - Small lightweight portable supply package. - Does not require any tools to attach/detach. - Contains 20 units of supplies and feeds one kerbal for around 18 days. - Does not explode when dropped on the ground. Mod requirements: USI Life Support - obviously kinda Kerbal Inventory System - for full functionality Download link: Download from SpaceDock Licence: CC 4.0 BY-SA-NC
  18. Wow, ok, I'll finish the texture - place number and stuff and post it in a single thread. Will link it ITT, if RoverDude don't mind.
  19. You have open nodes on the nacelles. Open nodes produce some serious drag.
  20. I'm glad y'all like it. Well, I imagined this green thingie more like a sticker, not a band. Something like this. However it'll get a number to represent supply quantity and to match RoverDude's parts (whether 15 or 20, so it won't be too op).
