  1. That's a really weird bug. Have you tried looking at your crash logs? They might have some useful info?
  2. When I'm building shuttles I have a lot of trouble keeping the CoM stable; it jumps when the SRB's drop, then gradually shifts along the length of the craft as the tank empties. Probably just a symptom of shuttle design/bad design, but it'd help if the engines could compensate. So what I mean is a change of angle to keep the CoT pointed at the CoM.
  3. I have an idea for this mod. Firstly, I love IR, and use it constantly, and I thought it'd be really cool to have sort of springy parts which stretch or contract, then revert to their original state when the button is released. I built an ultralight plane recently and it occurred to me that having the ability to manually move control surfaces around with cables (or whatever) would be an elegant little addition for aesthetically Heath Robinson crafts like my ultralight. Naturally I thought of IR, but there doesn't seem to be any equivalent part available that would allow that functionality. Anyway I'll stop rambling now, but in a future update that would be swish to see
  4. This mod is awesome! I remember seeing it in a demo video for a kethane miner (Mosquito?) and thinking "I must have this". And now I do! One question; is there a possibility of this being updated to account for thrust angle? That would make building shuttles and the like a lot easier.
  5. A bug: I installed the latest volumetric test, and got nothing; no clouds at all. Did I do something wrong?
  6. Love this! However is there any way I could change the hotkey from "P" to something else? P opens the BOSS menu as well... Cheers mon.
  7. Not a Star Wars fan, but that is very pretty! Nice job.
  8. Note: on the Broomstick you may want to replace the tanks with smaller liquid fuel only tanks- on my version it uses modified Sceppie's Minipack RCS tanks that hold 15 liquid fuel each; brings the weight down to 1.5T. Also my version has a radial reaction wheel system from a telescope mod; you may want to add something similar (not necessary but helpful). For the Korvid: use action groups! Probably want to use Stage lock while using it.
  9. I tried the Scimitar, and in the end I had to go into the config, and it turned out surface attachment is disabled Also, is it wings of some sort?
  10. Holy shock heating, Batman! I just tested the new improved Scramjets, and I am absolutely gobsmacked at their performance. Still accelerating... Achieved with a fully airbreathing craft Reentry- notice the canards and the left wingtip have burned up... This is preposterous! In conclusion- I. Love. This. Pack. [EDIT] To clarify, that plane has two of the afterburning engines to get it up to speed, and two Ramjets to get it up to stupid speed
  11. I couldn't resist; tested already XD I love those Scramjets. I managed, after a lot of fiddling about, to get a plane going quickly enough to use the Scramjets, and the result was fantastic! I got it up to 1,412m/s before the engines exploded, and I reckon if I redesign the plane so that it's not forced into a nose dive when I engage them I could get it much faster
  12. Shweet! Downloaded- will test tomorrow (or maybe later tonight lol) and have a go on those Scramjets!
  13. The volumetric clouds look absolutely awesome! Question: is it feasible to have tendrils of cloud follow your craft as you leave the cloudbanks? I'm not sure if that's a real thing but in my head I always imagine it to be that way; kind of like the bubble trails penguins leave when they enter the sea...
  14. I'm well excited about this mod- I have investigated hover-based craft in the past but they're all but impossible to get running. This should make that a lot easier
  15. Aesthetically, a little too stockalike for me; I'm not a fan of the stock plane parts. However having said that I love the idea of engines acting how they're supposed to. Will there be proper SCRAMjets and precoolers and new fancy intakes and stuff? Cause KSP really needs more and better jet engines.
  16. Saweet! While I'm here, how many "aftermarket" clouds packs are there for this? I have Astronomer's pack, and it's lovely, but I'd like to experiment with some others if they are available? Cheers.
  17. Love this shizz- totally forgot it existed until yesterday, and HAD to redownload it. Will there ever be striplights? That's the only thing left, lighting-wise. Cheers for making these; I love them.
  18. Curse you Fractal_UK and your incredible talent. I'm right up against my RAM limit and this latest update makes me want this mod soooo bad! I am going to have to remove all my non-essentials and fart about to get it working, but by golly I must have this mod!
  19. Hi. I'm certain this has been asked before, but I've skimmed back through quite a few pages and I can't find it; what settings in the Alt+N menu for the clouds can I alter to reduce the tiling effect of the clouds (If at all)? It's not really an issue, but I'd like to see it reduced slightly if possible. Massive, massive props again for doing this- I've said it before but these clouds are absolutely indispensable for me. Cheers.
  20. Cheers chaps; I assumed it was cause I have low graphics settings. No worries! It's not exactly game-breaking, and the massively improved look more than makes up for it. I love the mod.
  21. Fair point; good plan! Also, I'd like to point out that it's very loosely based on the actual Blackbird, and not meant to be a replica. It is clipped, for aesthetic reasons, and can/will be improved.
