I didn't think you would judge my post, there's a perfectly good one above it. I'll just have to rate them both now. 0111narwhalz: 8/10 looks ready to go, but maybe a little wobbly. Mycroft: 7/10 old and dusty but gets the job done.

I have no direct naming convention. I used to be really literal and call things "Jool Probe" and "Mun Lander 4." I had a whole letter system figured out for airplanes, so I had the P-3, J-5, G-1, etc. Now I name things after whatever I want. I've used obscure deities (Dazbog, Qetesh, Innana), anime characters (Noriko, Ranma), the word "Phantasmagoria", and acronyms (DES) Once I made a ship to crash into the Sun, and I called it "To heck with the Sun." Just use whatever you want, really.

And there's nothing wrong with that! You seem to know plenty about how we view things, maybe you could make a mod to correct things? I don't know, but I think that should possible, to modify things like the view. Modding things is what is done when an aspect of the game is considered undesirable ( or when someone has something cool to add ) by someone, right?

Even if KSP is distorted, I don't think it matters very much. A lot of things in KSP are distorted and unrealistic, and that's the way we usually like it.

The rescue mission to Duna is assembled, I just need to fuel it up now and I can rescue Milzy and Tetrid. The Duna Exploration Spacecraft 2 (DES 2), or the Phantasmagoria, is based off of the original DES, and has the same amount of fuel and thrust, but twice as much crew capacity and is ~25-30 tons lighter. It will intercept the DES around Duna and rescue Tetrid and Milzy, then complete its mission of exploring Duna. I'm thinking about launching a one-way fuel tank with it just to make sure they have enough to return.

Exactly this, but because I decided to pack an entire orange fuel tank full of oxidizer... on a ship with nothing but nuclear engines.
