  1. Hi Everyone, I'm having a hard time playing this game and getting into orbit and stuff, and Ive herd and seen people using this "unlimited flue" option, I'm on a mac, and Ive seen topic's like this before and people saying press Alt+F12, well, that doesn't work for me, it just opens up system preferences. without pressing alt at the same time, its the volume button, Can anyone help me? Thanks ^^
  2. Hi I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to make mods! Answers will be greatly appreciated!
  3. Hi all, I'm looking for a menu of mods that might rekindle my interest in career mode. In the past, I've used MKS/OKS, ScanSat, RemoteTech, Kerbal Construction Time, Severed Solo's Kerbin Space Station contract pack, "Better than Starting Manned," and a little of KSP-Interstellar. All fun mods, but I'd like a new experience, with a new tech tree and a focus on space stations and bases. I'm using Windows 7, so RAM is a limitation, though I've had success with the OpenGL workaround in the past. I always use KER, Kerbal Alarm Clock, Docking Port Alignment Indicator, PreciseNode, and Final Frontier. Anyway, I'm thinking something like the following modlist: Probus's Engineering Tech Tree Severed Solo's Kerbin Space Station Contract pack DMagic's Orbital Science Nertea's Stockalike Space Station Parts Something to spice up the middle-to-late game: KSPI-Extended? Outer Planets Mod? New Horizons? Kerbal Galaxy 2? Any advice or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
  4. When i build a ship in KSP and i want to test/use it. I try to launch the ship, but about 5 sec after i spawn on the runway, the screen goes black but i can see all of my tools/monitors? Heres a Screenshot of it: https://gyazo.com/21ca3e3f231b89ad020b9613742a6324 Please help!
  5. The Carp: The carp is a light MK3 cargoplane, with impressive handling and gliding. not only does it glide well, capable of gliding at 88m/s without stalling (with FAR), and maintaining speed un-powered, but it has 2 vectoring turbojets from the mk2 expansion mod, capable of assisting it in pitching, yawing, and to a lesser extent, maybe even rolling. not only does it glide, but it also has a front loading cargo ramp as its nose, with good aerodynamics. Mods used: MK3 expansion MK2 expansion generic inline cockpits adjustable landing gear B9 procedural wings B9 aerospace modular fuel tanks maybe more, if i forgot. 6. So there are mod packs for building specific ships--such as the Discovery II and the Hermes from The Martian--which include rotating hubs for artificial gravity in habitats. And there are mod packs, like Porkjet's Habitat Pack, which have rotating habitats. But I haven't seen a standalone mod pack that is just rotating hubs, so you could build your own habitats and attach to the hub. Is this something someone might be willing to make, or split off from an existing mod...?
  7. (Answered.... by my self) When I EVA a kerbal on land, he flings upwards and then falls to the ground, and when I EVA in space, he flings off, accelerating, so there is no way for him to get back. I have a lot of mods, and mainly what I was wondering is which mods are the imcompatible ones or is doing this... Mods: Realism Overhaul with all required mods, RSS, Module Manager, EditorExtensions, PersistentRotation, RCSBuildAid, AIES(without some tanks), HyperEdit, FASA, RemoteTech, ActiveTextureManagement, ProceduralFairings, VenStockRevamp, TAC, TextureReplacer, ProceduralParts, FAR, KAS, KIS, Toolbar, RealChute, TweakScale, MechJeb, TakeCommand, DynamicControls, AnalogControls, B9Wings, KSCSwitcher, NovaPunch(Engines), VesselView, SovietEngines, JSI Edit: It was Real Heat's Module flight intergrator
  8. All of this below is now irrelevant. Per RIC: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/126746-new-pinned-thread-in-addon-discussions-poll/&do=findComment&comment=2307233 --Ok so we got a new forum. So I got at request. Could we get a sub forum where users could submit mod lists. Such as their favorite mods, mods they think are essential, mods that improve career mode etc. etc. This would be super cool and bring a new aspect to the Addon section. It would also give less visible mods a chance to shine. I am sure there could be problems and rules needed but boy would it make life easier if you find a list with exactly the mods you like to use. And think about how many new users could be helped. Further explanation of my reasoning: FIrst, Mod list threads, due to their lower comment traffic, very quickly get buried in all the Mod traffic. This has the rather strong effect of making it impossible to keep track of a list of you run across one and don't choose to follow it, making it impossible to easily compare list if you can find them at all. Having your list quickly pushed off of the all important front page makes it a dead letter. Almost no one will see it at all. Taking the time to create and maintain a list is hardly worth the time of posting on the forum if almost no one is going to even see it. I would argue that far more people would share their mod list than those who currently do if there was a convenient way to ensure that it would not get lost in the noise. A place where other list could be compared and the community could collaborate, brain storm, and inspire each other, in a meaningful and useful ways. Second, I know I almost never go into the discussion forum and I think most users are this way, that is primarily a forum for, from what I have seen, those wishing to contribute ideas for mods or are mod creator's themselves. I would venture to bet the vast majority of traffic is through the Add-ons release forum, and since these list would be lists of released mods it would seem more appropriate in Addon-Release forum. Hmm I am not sure the mod list tag will cover it. You have to remember to search on that tag to find the lists and the person posting has to remember to use that tag as well.
