Space Bar - for lone Kerbals

Kerbals in space are lone. There is no place to sing, dance, drink youself to hell or meet some girls. The next bar is millions of kilometers away. But if the Kerbal can´t come to the bar, the bar must come to the Kerbal! And here it comes: The Space Bar!

With a Delta-v of >11,000 m/s this thing can go nearly everywhere. No Kerbals in the system will have to stay abstinent any longer. Beer for German, Whisky for American and Vodka for Russian Kerbonauts is on the way! And the girls are coming, too (with the 1.0 train).

Let´s accompany Hermes Kerman on his tour through the space bar.

The bar has everything you need:

- A bouncer

- A wardrobe

- gender-seperated toilets (with open doors...)

- A bar with lots of alcohol water and juices

- A stage with intruments and microphones for one front man, two guitarists and 3 background singers

- A mixer for the DJ

- A disco ball

- lots of room for dancing (I want to see that at 0g)

- lots of tables for hanging around

- A "hotel" area with space for 32 Kerbals

And yeah, 1.25m loudspeaker make a nice sound.

The bar has one pilot, lots of SAS, lights and RTGs. Four LV-Ns push the 557 ton monster through space.

Is it a good idea to have the door facing in the same direction as the engines? How are the kerbals going to party while in motion if they get thrown out the door?

Well, when the space bar leaves a planet, most of the guests will have to stay back at their workplaces (stations/bases). The really hard ones can either go in their cabins or cling onto something during the few minutes (or rather hours, if you consider the terrible acceleration of this thing) of interplanetary transfer burns.

Yes, hitting the Space Bar´s Space Bar might cause a launching of the Space Bar just when hitting the Space Bar (of the Space Bar).

That´s absolutely right, but sadly KSP´s lights can´t be dimmed. Maybe I could switch some of the lights of, and make them a bit more red (not extreme).... That might work. Any other ideas?

Lights can be dimmed, just lower all RGB values.

But...if the brightness is kinda proportional to the sum of the three values, does that mean if I put G and B to zero to get a red light, the lamp is just 1/3 as bright as before?
