As the Joker once said, "And Here We Go"

I was reading through KSP articles online, looking to see if people mistook 1.0 as finished, when really it will continue development. Engadget says this is the 'polished version' despite not having clouds yet, but I digress.

I read through a few different sites until I came upon Eurogamers article about 1.0 releasing. In that article they say this:

Also - hardcore Kerbal fans take note - a physical edition of the game will be the next Gamer's Edition (that's the time-limited special edition venture from Gamer Network - the company which also publishes this website).

A click later and I was brought to THIS: https://www.gamersedition.com/blog/announcing-kerbal-space-program-gamers-edition

We're working with developer Squad to create an awesome set of Kerbal-approved collectibles for a Kerbal Space Program special edition - the work-in-progress image above is a glimpse of what we're planning to include, and we'll have more details very shortly.

This article was released only just today, so hopefully I have successfully stolen Squads thunder and posted it here first! :P

I want an android app of the VAB so I can build and design ships on the fly even if I couldn't test them until I got home. Lego rockets would get to many weird looks at work.

The Lego Rockets wouldn't get me any weird looks, me constantly saying stuff like, "Noicaziralucric atsah sodnuges zied!" while playing with them would...

So is it just the 3d-printed stuff we can already get packaged in a nice box for 1.5x the price, or is it going to be proper stuff?

I've never heard of this company before and just glancing at the stuff they did for Hotline, Miami, it appears they do their own stuff, but it's hard to say for sure.

That would actually be very cool. Maybe not a full VAB, but something that lets you sketch your designs more or less and import it somehow to the game.

How "limited" are we talking here? Available for the first 100 customers and then they're gone? Or are they just saying that to generate hype and they actually have 100,000 ready to ship?

Also, any word on how much more expensive this version will be? I love the idea of getting something like this, but I'm a starving student. If it goes above 100$... I'll probably have to let this one go. Like, on average how much do these G.E. packs cost?
