Sandworm
If it was long overdue, and only took a couple man-days to implement, then why now? Why not a year ago? Why not during the beta/alpha? Why add yet another feature to the "release" that might insert new bugs? This is not the process of a mature development house. Unless Squad has literally hundreds of professional quality assurance people, which they simply don't, toying around with new features the week before release is extremely dangerous. I've worked for mature development houses all my life and in every one of them the general rule of thumb was for every man-hour it took to develop, it took three times that many to test. So if it took a couple of days for one man to develop, the accepted norm for mature development houses is that it would take 6 days for one man to test. Or 3 days for 2 men to test. Or just about an 1 1/2 hours for a 100 man expiramentals team (actually less than that since I doubt Harvester was developing 48 hours straight). I think you and I are talking apples an oranges. I mean proper testing against a wide variety of platforms, the sort of thing that is done only on new products in preparation for public release. Not every patch would go through the process, only that attached to a major media rollout. The houses I've worked with would often outsource this testing for lack of manpower and equipment. With millions, tens of millions, of dollars riding on a smooth roll out, the risk of even tiny bugs must be mitigated. You don't hand such responsibility to a few dozen volunteers a week before d-day. Edited April 24, 2015 by Sandworm

TMS
A new gorram skybox - preferably one without image artefacts and white lines showing on the dimension joins.Something so simple makes the game look that much more professional.
roosterr
G-Forces that will squish the kerbals in their seats, or make funny faces or something. Because currently there is a g force meter, but it really does nothing for game-play and hardly ever spikes into the red. It just seems unfinished. KerikBalm
If a recent image posted by the devs is any indicator, it's probably proper occlusion effects from eclipses.Yes, that would be epic... I would also love to be in orbit, looking at the shadow Mun casts across kerbin as it causes an eclipse o the surface.

MKI
My money is on a launch button. Simply put this is a space game and there isn't one. Thats unaccaptable. 2 days sounds like a reasonable time to impliment a new button that does one thing once. Not much coding, but there needs to be UI, and coding of it in. Its also something a new player would notice and use to get his or her spacecraft going. Its simple, basic and no one has guessed it before. Parkaboy
Space telescopes? Since it's the Hubble anniversary, I should point out that one of the things I missed when I first started playing was having a telescope to put in orbit. Sure, there are mods for that, but we could hope for a stock one, right?
Wolfos31
I would really love telescopes. I'd also love terrain maps of orbital bodies. I'm okay with it not being clever enough to map asteroids. But the terrain maps are already in the game, just set something up so I can scan a planet and have a room in the tracking station where I can look at detailed maps of the planets. Either of those features would add a lot to the game for me.
