I've incorporated the mod NoOffsetLimits into EditorExtensionsRedux.  I've rewritten the reflection code to use names rather than offsets, so it should work going forward, possibly with a recompile for new versions.

The complete mod is available here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bzid7e3pW1k7d1ozQ0F2cXE1R2M/view?usp=sharing

This now includes:

Editor Extensions Redux
No Offset Limits
Strip Symmetry

It's now working as part of Editor Extensions Redux

I was able to figure out the reflection changes

I tried the above download and in plugins I can see StripSymmetry but no NoOffselLimits, and NoOffsetLimits does not seem to be working, I can only guess it is missing? EEX works properly, and Strip Symmetry also

I just downloaded from that link and installed it into a clean game, it works.

Try again

There is no UI for NoOffsetLimits.  I tested by creating an orange tank, then one of the offset decouplers, then was able to move the decoupler through the tank to the other side, and then back to the correct side, all the way out in the air

What do you mean "in plugins I can see"?  They are now all included in EEX, and shouldn't be listed a seperate mods.  An earlier version of EEX did have them as seperate, but I've merged them.

Is there reference to it anywhere, as I said I can see StripSymmetry in the plugin data folder but no NoOffsetLimits or an activation flag you have to do, I couldn't find anything...

No, it just works.  You see the StripSymmetry in the plugin data because I haven't changed the config info, but there is no config info for this.

Right now, all these mods i've combined merely do what they did in 1.0.5, although compiled for 1.1 and now sharing some common code since 3 of them were written by the same person.

Eventually, I'll be putting in a config screen to be able to enable/disable individual parts

Oh there is still a config for StripSymmetry in the plugindata folder

@linuxgurugamer OK now I know why we had the confusion, NoOffsetLimits used to allow unlimited offset in 'all' directions, i.e. put two tanks together, then you could pull them apart from each other, not just through each other to the other side. I just did your orange tank as you stated above and I could offset the decoupler 'through' the tank, so your version is working, but previously I would also be able to also pull it away from the tank, as far as I had space.

I'll upload a pic in a sec from 1.05 to demonstrate

I can't do that in your version.

Sorry, I don't understand.  Maybe the picture will help, but from what I see above, you did pull the coupler away from the tank.

Please elaborate.  Keep in mind that I never used this mod in 1.0.5, so really am somewhat guessing here.  Take a look at this series of pictures showing the same thing as you, with moving the decoiupler in all 6 directions:

If this isn't working for you, then I need to figure out what is not correct.

Any plans to allow no offset limits to this no offset limit mod? :D

I will keep my trap shut and let the knowledgeable ones discuss this..

My picture was from 1.05 to demonstrate what I meant, so it works in 1.1 in yours but not in mine, I'll try again but it seemed firmly attached to the tank.

Using build 1183 on Ubuntu 15.10

it's showing version 2.12.5939.37097 of EEX

Ok.  I'm going to totally rebuild the mod, and create a new download file.  Maybe you have an older file which Google is caching.

Download from here, it's a totally new file:  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bzid7e3pW1k7Z3NCQ2VFVUE5ZlU/view?usp=sharing

Oh, and I really appreciate your doing this testing

I believe you but that's what I am getting from the link

Please open the directory, and take a look at the file:  EditorExtensionsRedux.version.

The current version should be:

Major: 3
Minor: 2
Patch: 1
Build: 0

LOL, I think I got it.  So it was a bad download from Google Drive?

For some reason googledrive was messing with the download.

It's now on Dropbox:   https://www.dropbox.com/s/7m18ouwl1xe4khe/EditorExtensionsRedux-3.2.1.zip?dl=0
